In Tekken 7, Nina will dressed up Like Calhoun in Wreck it Ralph, Elsa from Frozen, & Elastigirl from Incredibles.

Back when Anna was literally just a costume swap for Nina. Thankfully, Anna returned to her roots for the console version.
I'm just glad she got her own voice lines. Anna feels weird to watch without the infamous: "HEY!" 👠

Fun fact: in Tekken 3 Mokujin can't mimic Anna Williams despite her being a regular character (not boss like the Ogres or bonus characters like Dr.B and Gon)
This is because Anna was not originally in the Arcade edition.

As someone who played the arcade version of Tekken 3 99% of the time and played the PS1 version only once, this was my memory of Anna- a different person with the exact same moves as Nina. Because of that, I never got interested in Anna until Tekken 5. Even in Tekken Tag 1 I still thought she played exactly the same as Nina. It was in Tekken 5 where they gave her a lot of unique animations to make her moves look more different to Nina as well as a better-looking fighting stance.
In Tekken 1 and 2, Nina and Anna had very similar movesets, T3 console version was when Anna started having her own moves, T5 and newer games she still have a few moves similar to Nina but still her moveset was overhauled.

I believe the reason why Anna wasn't present in Tekken 4 because they spent their time renovating her outlook. Not only giving her more unique moves, but also new animations for existing moves and fighting stance because 90% of Anna's move set from Tekken 1 to Tekken Tag 1 are just duplicates of Nina's. Something that hasn't been explained about her absence.
Obviously, every "clone" character had a few moves of their own in the earlier Tekken games, especially during Tekken 1 and 2. Lee, Ganryu, Wang, Anna, Armor King, etc. and all of these mentioned characters were absent in at least one Tekken game because they were being renovated to make them more unique.

Anna Williams is the only TK3 character has two different endings
Uncensored: Nina pops Anna's top in front of three guys.
Censored: Anna abandons Nina to party with those three guys.
I always wondered why in the uncensored ending of Anna she ended up humiliated by Nina when she should be victorious.

I have a feeling that Anna's portrait is something reused from Tekken 2. Like how Jun's portrait is like that too
I like Anna's character portrait here, it is more accurate to her in game model than the console version's character portrait. But when I think of the console version portrait of Anna, it looks accurate to her model in her ending cinematic. So weird that there isnt better consistency.
Believe it or not this is much more common than you think. When Michelle was brought back for TTT2 I didn't recognize her at *ALL* .
Part of it was because Michelle's character model never matched her portrait.
For an example: Michelle ALWAYS had her hair cut into straight bangs in her portraits but the first time her hair actually matched the portraits was in TTT1. Prior to that she used to have the hairstyle which you can see on her TT2 model.
Funny enough once the hair finally matched the portrait, suddenly Michelle's skin complexion didn't match her in game model at all! In TT1 her portrait had a fair tan but in-game Michelle was extremely pale.
It's just very odd and confusing.

Anna Williams had two different endings in Tekken 3 one being the English Version and the other being the Japanese Version which none of the other Tekken Characters did not have!
@@ryxnwil Well you are right about it and I have done my research and yes Gunjack has two endings in Tekken 3
Yes, but the second GunJack ending is basically just a followup to what actually happened after the satellite laser fired, and it's available in every version of the game. In Anna's case, it's due to censorship, since in the Japanese ending Nina snaps Anna's bra off to embarass her, making it a win for Nina. Meanwhile, the rest of the world gets the censored version where Anna just walks off with the guys, making it a win for Anna.
Panda and Kuma's ending is also a two-parter. First, you get the Kuma ending, which ends just after Kuma offers the flower bouquet. Then, the Panda part comes in, which shows Panda and Xiaoyu still ignoring Kuma while he keeps standing in the same pose with the flowers.

I have arcade Tekken 3 (for PS2 in Tekken 5); although I use Anna in this, it is hard to do my usual combos with her as she is Nina palette swap lol.

oh yeah.... "Anna", this tas looks cool, i remmeber playing as her back in Tekken 5's Arcade History, and getting confused to why she had to be selected via start button and where was the other charaters (back then i've only played ps1 tekken 3), the increased framerate and the good looking models are what makes this game stand to this day in both versions

Nina and Anna was the same in this version huh cuz in T2 I swear they was different!? and the T3 console version they was different to right!?
Yeah, in T1 Anna is exactly the same as Nina but has her own additional moves. T2 they updated Nina so she had more of her own stuff - Anna didn't change much. T3 console Anna got quite a lot of new stuff.

It’s called ‘Evil Mist’, an unblock-able move that stuns, but basically does no damage…Nina has it, as well.

I always forget that the arcade and console versions of Tekken 3 had very different soundtracks. It's interesting that "Anna" seems to be nothing more than a palette swap, here, when I think she had some of her own moves in Tekken 2. It's like they just threw an Anna model in and said, "Fuck it, just make sure she has the titty shake win pose, we'll fix the rest in the console version."
Actually, the *true*arcade version of Tekken 3 features more differences in the audio department than just the soundtrack. More percussive sound effects more in line with the rest of the series, music changing with rounds quite like Third Strike except predating it by two years, announcer saying "one" doesn't sound the same as the console version, etc. It's like Namco couldn't use the audio elements from the actual arcade version when porting it to PS2 for some reason.
@@thepulseman7154 Remember, these games games came with the console port of Tekken 5 as extras, they weren't as much of a priority. They used ps1 sound assets because they were already in a ps2 friendly format. Getting Tekken 3's music to behave like the arcade, although possible, would've probably been more work than they thought it was worth.
