Don't miss Damon DesChamp on February 15th, at 3pm PST online on www.tinyhouse.com for the 2024 DIY Fest discussion!
Today, the Tiny House Experts at Trailer Made Custom Trailers are training some CTE (construction technical education) students from the Technical College of the Rockies, here in Delta CO. The instructors and the students have come in to get some information on how to attach walls to the trailer, and some other stuff along the way.
We will show you how to use Simpson Strong Tie HTT4 anchors in the walls, and also a specially designed Simpson Strong Tie clip for the end walls, that was developed by Simpson and The Tiny House Experts together!
Please leave a comment for us, and ask any questions you have about the video above! Enjoy!

    Off topic question.
What size minisplit would you put in a tiny house that is 288 sq ft that has a vaulted ceiling in Texas.

If you want to use it as 2 zones, we would use a 24kbtu up to a 30k. Hope this helps you!

Thanks but it is just a tiny house with a higher ceiling that is vaulted 12 ft at the peak and slopes down to a regular size wall.

@larryeagleson3182 18k BTU single unit, 24k BTU for a 2 zone in TX if you want a handler in the loft, for example.. 👍
