I just bought this like a week ago, and honestly, it is really worth it! especially for those who take long road trips, this will become ur little companion. However, it has some disadvantages, as u mentioned, it stays connected. Which means if u forget to disconnect it before u get off the car, u'll likely have to buy another battery next morning ;c. Also, it heats up so quickly! and when it does, it becomes a lil bit laggy. Apple carplay is also slower when using this unit. Overall, despite all of these downsides, it is still good.
Were you able to connect to TH-cam? What Android version are you using, will Android 14 work???? I've noticed that most car play dongles don't work with Android 14. SHOULD I GET IT???!!
Having the same problems but the most annoying would be the lost in connection or delay between voice to audio. I’ve tried the Quadlock wireless CarPlay & the first wireless CarPlay you tested on the channel both have the same issues. This new product looks like it’s sold out for the usb option at least right now on the website will definitely try once it’s available again.

@@golfpropilot no problem at all! If you plug your phone into the USB and it takes you into Apple Carplay or Android Auto, this means you have wired carplay. If you plug it in and all it does is charge it then you do not. It’s a newer technology so not all years will have it. Hope this helps :)
How do i get rid of the horrible lag when watching a video. Starts of normal then gradually gets laggy and screen response is absolutely horrible. Please help lol

I think instead of lightning port you mean USB-C port and instead of micro SD card I think you mean that’s the SIM card slot.

It’s doesn’t have a “nano SD” the device has a micro sd card slot, nano sim slot and a usb C port.
Being tethered from your phone for Wi-Fi, how is the sound when watching YT or Netflx? Do you find the sound of talking being off by a few seconds?
No delay at all when tethered! First box i’ve used without delay personally.

@@dee151 yes it’s normal you want to make sure you have auto-connect on so it goes to carplay right away
you need restart... read instruction.
it is a small hole where is blue or green light, you need to prest restart button with needle hold 4s
