Really appreciate that you talk about the features in the shoe, especially the comparison to the previous model. I’m watching this review because I’m considering getting a pair to skate in, and I want to learn more about the shoe. Too many reviews just do a couple flip tricks and say “they look cool and I like them”. Thank you for giving me actual information that I can use in my decision making 🙏.
I got my pair today the black with brown sole,and it's my first real skate shoe. I really feel how Sturdy they are and the Ollie gets alot better. Your Ollie here in your video was so nice,I hope I can get there same day.😊🤘
Didn’t know about the wider lace area, I always thought mine ended up too close and looked funny! This is the first video I’ve seen somebody mention it.
Do you watch Christian Flores channel. He has come out with Shoe Drops and laces that last. He skated these shoes with and without Shoe Drops and it seems to have really protected the seems. I ordered some and it is on the way. I just got a pair of Last Resort shoes from BlueTile skate shop that I want to protect. . I normally (about the last 2 years) only skate the Tyshawn's Jones Adidas mid tops. Love them. I will try vans again now that they have made some modification. These shoes are clean. Is there any change to sizing with the modifications? (At the cinematic B Roll artsy part, nicely done) Love this ledge spot in the empty city, why is the city empty! Vampires, I get it. Did you just walkie a basketball post? You are making great videos Sir. Definitely need to mention your channel on mine. Not sure it will help half my subscribers are lost in the matrix. But I will definitely shout out your channel, I really like what you are doing and how you are doing it. It is honest.
The ones he skated weren't the skateboarding version. They were just the vans sk8 hi. The ones I have are the new "skate sk8 hi" they definitely hold up a lot longer then the classic and canvas ones he skated. And I appreciate the kind words!
I just use super glue. To be honest I think that's all the shoe drops are. Still love his videos but I'd rather just buy cheap super glue from the corner store.
I’ve had the new half cabs for like 3 months now and I will say they are still stiff as hell ... they don’t really feel broken in ... I hate the pop Cush insoles they hurt my feet .. I love how the toungues stay in the same spot though that’s the only thing they got right ... I will just skate the pro classics till they disappear from my vans outlet
Never worn a high Vans. Want to try them out eventually but I have a billion shoes right now and I think the missus might keel haul me if I get another pair. Also I really don't like the look of the uncoloured shoes. They just look like they are ready to be dipped in checkered white and black paint in Santa's workshop.
