Nice job Warren! I'm not sure what that plate over the gear was there for. I'm guessing either to keep foreign matter like dirt, dust, dog hair, carpet fibers et al out or to keep the gear grease from flying all over the interior. Anyway, best to have it in there. Always a fun watch! Thanks!
I cut one of those gear cover plates plates I needed for a 671 out of an old 1970s pontiac trans am dash board face I had (it was a bent and scratched up junker).....Im still impressed the engine turning on the parts I made make it look like a swiss watch inside lol😂
I like your videos. They are very informative. Do you make repairs for people on the side or just on your own trains? I have a couple engines and a couple whistle tenders that could use some servicing.
Thanks for watching. I don't service them for others. Mainly because I am in Canada, getting parts if needed is difficult and expensive. The shipping of the loco and the parts is also VERY expensive.
Awesome fix ! Very satisfying !
Thanks for watching! Its getting those little bits back that make the whole thing feel complete,

Probably just an extra 2 cent piece that allowed them to add an extra 50cent markup to the final price. 🤔
@@warrenmuzakpostwarguy4331 Good one! Although there's no-one left alive from those days at Lionel we can ask! 😉

Very interesting. I was guessing it was going to be something smoke unit related. And then it was!
