I have seen few videos of creating timelapse and motionlapse and your video was by far the best explanation that covered everything scenario with settings. Love it thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this video James! I definitely got a better understanding of how to create the motion blur with the Timelapse!!
no problem 😎 glad u found it helpful!
Perfect info! Thank you! Gonna be up late tonight doing time lapses.
no problem 😎 good luck with it!
James mind blowing video keep up the excellent work that you’re doing and can’t wait for you to have more and more videos with the pocket three excellent man
ah thanks man 😎 loads more pocket 3 videos already on my channel so check them out and of course more to come!
Great video! Thanks for sharing.👍🏻
no problem 😎 glad u found it useful!
Thanks for the helpful info.
no problem 😎
Awesome I haven’t tried the Time lapse features yet. I think I’ll give it a go. Thanks for the explanation James. 😎✌️
no problem 😎 yeah definitely give it a go when u get a chance, it’s super easy to set up and shoot and the final results are pretty cool!
Very Nice vidéo thank you for sharing.
no problem, glad u liked it 😎
Gran video muy bien explicado, me ha servido de gran ayuda. Un saludo desde España
thank u! glad u found it useful! ahh I was in Spain last week catching some sun 😎
Why did DJI increase the slowest shutter speed to 1 second from when the pocket2 had 8 seconds? Could it be possible with firmware update for the Pocket3 to have 25 seconds shutter speed?

welcome aboard 😎
Excellent presentation and explanation thank you I’ve just got my Pocket 3 so this was really informative. Can you use the filters when the wide angle lens is in place ?
no problem! glad u found it helpful 😎 so, unfortunately the wide angle lens doesn’t attach onto them as the magnets keep pushing them away so u can’t stack it onto them BUT one thing I have found is u can attach the wide angle lens vertically instead but it adds a slight vignetting round the edges tho so u would need to play around with it to see if it’s usable for u or not
Great video. Please create a similar video for timelapse and timeshift settings with the ace pro
thanks 😎 I’ll keep ur request noted for a potential future video
Great Video! No ND Filter needed for the Nightlaps?
If it's dark enough drag the shutter long as possible to let mote light in
Brilliant James, you explain these features in a way us newbies find easy to understand and able to set into our camera. The only downside to those settings is you can't really set into the C1,C2 etc pre-setting because of the White Balance . Still great feature though and can't wait to try it.
thanks man 😎 glad it came across easy for u to follow!
Hi James, got my Pocket 3 today after 6 week wait. Would like to put ideal settings into it and looked through your videos cus I like your footage. Can't see one for complete settings, can you link it for me please m8? Cheers.
ahhhhhhhhh 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 u got it!!!!! so u know what, i don’t actually have a video going thru those settings but will definitely add it to my list to potentially make one! I’m sure ur loving it already! have fun! 😎
@@james.loxton That would be great. I will start enjoying it after i get over hernia surgery I had recently.👍
ahhh! speedy recovery man 💪🏾
1 think I'd like to have is the option to lock the gimbal for timelapse. I was using pocket 3 for timelapses in Japan and the gimbal move slightly, I guess because of wind or small earthquake maybe ?
yeah I know what u mean, sometimes the gimbal can slightly move even when shooting a normal video and it’s sitting down on the side which can spoil the look of the video so a lock would be good
Perfect video! Just wondering if you see the issue when using motion time-lapse that pocket 3 can't auto-focus? I tried several times but none of them is in focus. Many thanks~
I haven’t personally had any issues with the focusing. Is it just when u shoot a time lapse?
@@james.loxton hi yes only happens in motion Time lapse, other time lapse mode is okay.
Thank you ,,,!!! excellent information ...!!!..just wondering if there is a way of making similar gimbal movement of the motionlapse from A to B, C etc but recording 4K normal video at 30 FPS say ??? ..not just photos ...do I make sense ???
In anycase ..liked ...subed ...etc ....cheeeerrrsss ...!!!
glad u found it useful and welcome aboard 😎 are u referring to shooting a normal video? If so then unfortunately u can’t currently set the gimbal to move between waypoints unless it’s a motion lapse video
@@james.loxtonThanks I hope they can implement that function soon...thanks for your time ....chheeerrrssss!
the pocket 2 shutter can go to 8 secs while the pocket 3 is limited at 1 sec.
this is exactly why i cancelled my amazon order for the pocket 3 as a somewhat timelapse nutter.
