right next to where the rear seats are mounted. I cut out a tiny piece of carpet and grinded down to bare metal. I did it on the drivers side near the mount closest to the door.
I just installed a full system to my stock head unit. Now my blinkers are LOUD!! and there is a constant buzz. The power line is run away from speaker wire. Any ideas what I should check?
Lol gotta admit that’s kinda funny. However I would double check your wiring from your subs you your head unit. You can find a wiring diagram online for it. Sounds like you just have something in the wrong place.
If I remember correctly I completely took out my rear seats to get the wiring under my center console, and I believe it either popped off or there were some screws of some sort. If that doesn’t help give me a couple days and I will have to look when I’m back.
Green pin 8 on your plug for touch screen for 12v , grey/violet is your aux input for it. Both might be used for amp turn on, check amperage first though. I have a 17 zr2 and ive tried all fuses i can Think of trying to find a good turn on source for an aftermarket amp, good advice is use a relay on one of these two or run a toggle for total safety. I checked with the dealership and found out the is NO amp on a NON BOSE system. Just be cautious about not hooking to odd fuses, they built these trucks with just the right fuse for the power it uses, ive blown a few and learned the hard way. Do it right..
Gotta say if you dont fully understand what you did or know the names of what you put in it. Maybe you shouldn't be posting these kinds of videos because i now have more questions then answers *flips you the bird*
The eva thing he is talking about is a db link it connects to your factory speaker outputs and converts them into rca outputs and that gives your amp audio signal
Gotta hear them! I just bought a similar setup for my 2019 Colorado. Building the box myself though
I’m going to do the same. What are components are you using
Did this dude really do a speaker review and not fire em up? “Did I miss something?” Haha yeah sure did. Lol
i really wanted to hear how it sounds seeing the subs are shallow and sealed
Where did you mount the ground wire?
Needed this
why is both of our battery covers cracked in the same spot 😭
You don't need an RCA converter. You could've just set the amp to high input and tapped in to the rear speakers.
For the RCA line output converter which color wires are the speaker wires?
One question I have is where did you tap in for a ground ?

Thanks for the intel🤙
How much space is behind the seat? Could you fit shallow subs behind the seats?
Not enough to fit a sub, even putting the amp was a squeeze. I would put the subs under the backseat
What wire colors are the speakers wires
Where do have the amp mounted at
It’s mounted between the two subs, under the middle backseat
How did you remove the back plastic to add the plywood backing for the amp mount?

where did you hook the high/low converter up to?
How did you black out steering wheel ring?
Plasti dip
Did you hook up seat spacers or no
No, I didn’t use seat spacers and yeah I thought the mtx’s were great!
Hey man where did you find the wiring diagram for your radio? I'm doing the same thing and I can't find the diagram anywhere

If you record music on a video, others can hear the bass fine if they are using a headset

What questions do you have? Love to answer them
