To clear things up for those who said that this song was just contributed by Hanbin....Empty was originally from B.I and the love thing part in the lyrics was probably rearrange or added from Mino or Bobby. Because now that I think about it Empty's lyrics really relates to what B.I must probably be feeling after losing WIN, I mean it just all makes sense after B.I said himself that he wrote this after losing to WINNER(Team A).. just by the title itself.. Hanbin felt empty losing WIN. The lyrics was full of genuine feelings from Hanbin though and I love how Winner sang it and delivered it to listeners very well it was full of emotions~~ WINKON :')

ended). He is the main producer for this song which is why people mainly credited B.I.rather than bobby and mino cuz i also think they only wrote the rap parts.

Winner gave this song justice and because of them, this song was successful. But because B. I. came up with the idea of this song and he contributed the most to the song which is why we associated this song more with him and try to understand his feeling and thinking through the lyrics of this song.

Who says he gave it....as trainees they turn in songs they've written....so probably yg liked it and told Hanbin he was going to give it to Winner...on WinnerTV YG was saying Winner needs to debut but he didn't like any of the songs they were writing...and that Hanbin was working harder than any of them staying later than anyone else alone in the studio making music all night long and not even going home to sleep. double ouch when song is about feeling empty after losing his dream of debut...and then to have Winner who beat their team sing his song and win awards with it. That is also when Hanbin got Nihilism tattoo....means life is meaningless....just like song Empty.

Winner's version is talking about a woman and breakup. The original by Hanbin is about how empty it feels after losing and failing, and how he hated being pitied by the people around him. Imo it's more touching that way.

I want to say thank you for doing this video. I stumbled across this 3-4 years ago accidentally and was so moved by the beat/vocal/everything. It was like an instant connection. This video was what made me into an INCLE and watching this again brings back so many memories. WINNER is such an amazing group and I'm so happy I stan them. I would probably still be a fan even if I didn't stumble across this video but that would mean I stan them after Taehyun left and that would be just so sad.
