Lets be real, older k-pop (before 2016) > newer k-pop. The newer ones just don't have the feeling inside their song now. A lot of them are just bangin tunes that blatantly does it for hyping up the crowd. Songs like this are slowly missing from the trend now and I kinda start losing my enjoyment for k-pop now. The reason I enjoy k-pop is because of songs like this, and now its getting flooded by all the headbanging tunes and I felt kinda sad about it.

My friend likes a 3rd generation group and asks me to listen to their songs. I did. Unimpressed. They are charming but my craving for quality music is NOT satisfied. I then started my own Kpop marathon because there must be something irresistable about Kpop for it to become THIS HUGE, right? After listening to tons of Kpop songs - old and new, from the group who sang Gee to the group who attended the Grammy's (trying to avoid any fan wars here), I realized one fact that BIG BANG is the REAL REASON behind the hype of Kpop and they need to be applauded for their dedication to music. BIG BANG is the BEST Kpop group out there. They are TRUE MUSICIANS and ARTISTS. Anyone who is in it for the music would have come to this easy conclusion. They only had three albums released but EVERY song is EPIC and deserves a reloop. Their music pulls at my heartstrings and I can listen to it all day long. Just me with my earplugs on. Just me and the music. At the age of 26, I never thought that Kpop would move me like this, and that I would call myself a 'fan' of any group. I'm too old for that. But it would be unfair to BIG BANG if I choose to hide my love for them because they deserve all the applause in the world. BIG BANG is the first (and probably the only, but we'll see) Kpop group that has won my heart, for good music never dies. I became a fan of BB 13 years after they debuted. That alone says A LOT.
They need to come back as a group because the world needs more good music.
BIGBANG stages are completely different with extraordinary stage presence. No k-pop artist can dominate them. Not even BTS and EXO.

Yeah 3rd generation songs kind a hard, their beat not as soft as sec generation. I mean look at 2ne1 and 4minute girl crush concept even their songs more like baddas but their beat still a little bit soft to be hear. Look at ITZY and other new group that try girl crush looks, their beat just too loud.
It's just my opinion, Im still support them but I can't get enough with sec generation. I prefer sec generation songs
