Egyptair has improved a lot, they are competitive in luggage weight and size, pilots are extremely professional, meals are delicious and quantity is great for the vegetarian meals you can ask for it before flight, for me it’s very recommended airline

I have been considering long haul following 4 recent sectors from London to Aswan, where I was actually pleasantly surprised at how comfortable MS was. Especially the Cairo to London on the NEO. I think I would take the plunge and consider long haul especially if on the 787. Brave?!! 😅
last time i flew EgyptAir, we flew aboard a Russian Antinov prop plane between Cairo and Alexandria in 1965. I think if i ever go back home to Egypt, I would like to try them. It looks like they improved a lot since 1965.
Flew BRU - CAI - KGL on Egyptair 2 weeks ago, both on a 737. First impressions were awful, the flight was delayed by over an hour (which I was already anticipating looking at FR24 data of previous flights beforehand), and we got unlucky with an old 737 with old seats, no sky interior, no IFE, very filthy windows. We barely made our connection in Cairo but fortunately that flight was also delayed by an hour lol (we arrived 1h40min late in Kigali), but the difference was like night and day. Newer plane (windows and strobe lights were different) with sky interior with solid IFE, left a very different impression. But Egyptair's punctuality is absolutely awful from my experience, we have a 1 hour connection in Cairo on the way back and looking at fr24, flight literally never arrives under an hour late (also has to do with Sudanese airspace being closed so abruptly, but strange they haven't updated the schedule even after months) :/ Praying that the flight to Brussels will be delayed too
Their customer service at Heathrow terminal two is extremely volatile, very unpleasant staff extremely rude manager with no good customer service. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Egypt air , glad you felt treated nice that wasn’t my personal experience with me.
Thanks for your valued feedback. We would not recommend watching any video on a zoomed in landscape mode on the phone as you‘re loosing about 30 % of the original format the video was recorded. In regular landscape mode all subtitles are visible. Furthermore, as you can read at the video and rating disclaimer in the video discription, we are sharing our flight experiences based on our expectations, the general airline concept and the flight duration. We‘ve taken more than 500 flights and Egyptair exceeded our expectations. That‘s why it was astonishing.
Das schlimmste Essen, war ein Stangensellerie Salat mit Shrimps bei LH und als Diabetiker völlig daneben, eine ganze Banane bei SAS zum Frühstück. The worst meal was a celery salad with shrimps at LH and, as a diabetic, completely wrong, a whole banana at SAS for breakfast.

Looks better than shitty and overpriced KLM
Definitely a more comfortable cabin. However, the food quality and IFE is better at KLM.
7:20 again, pay attention bloggers. Short haul = 2 hours, regional / medium haul = 6 hours, long haul = 12 hours & finally, ultra long haul > 15 hours. 🎉🎉
