    13:07 The bevel would have worked if i had remembered to shade smooth before playing with the bevel, d'oh.

    As a total noobie with Blender I gotta say thank you, this was really useful. One thing I'm trying to work out is, how would the hands and the legs be movable. I intend to try and 3d print some of the models I will design and I don't want them to be fixed in place :D

    I've tried searching for the exact image reference used here but had no luck finding it

    I think the shoulder has to be the most complex/ difficult part. Other than that, should be pretty easy; will definitely try this out!

    Also when I get to 1:49, my cube is a trapezoid instead of a rectangle, am I doing something wrong?

      HI, you can either simply drop an image unto the 3D viewport from a folder, or press shift+A and select image > reference

    16:32 This part is kicking my ahs, I began my lego man from another tutorial that was done in Blender 2.something. then found yours after his got too complicated for me to figure out how to do things in Blender 3.0 that he's doing in his version. That being said, this part just will not work out for me. I'd also like to mention I am a massive NOOB a few things that are different in mine from yours 1. I don't have the bicycle spokes on the cylinder portion (Maybe this is my problem). 2. When I attempt to delete the various edges I can get to the leaning "Y" but deleting anything beyond that won't work for me. What am I doing wrong?

      I would assume that the reason you don't have the bicycle spokes on the cylinder is because you have chosen to fill the cap with an ngon, what you need to do is when you create the cylinder there should be a little pop up menu in the bottom left with properties in, find the bit that says cap fill and change that setting to triangle fan.

    can you link to the reference sheets?

    • @Belidos3D
      @Belidos3D  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have a link for it i'm afraid, it was a random image i found on google image search after typing in leg figure blueprint, and because it wasn;t my image i deleted it as soon as i fnished using it.

    How Do You Add A Reference images?

    • @Belidos3D
      @Belidos3D  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be able to just drag the picture from the folder you have it and drop it in the 3d viewport and blender will add it.
