    I always feed them extra on Christmas too! Hope he gets better looks like he gets around ok considering

    Give it time. I had one either break or at least severely injure a front leg this past summer. I left her out on pasture but checked on her a few times a day to make sure she was eating and drinking. Took a couple of months but she finally healed up. I sold her and got market price for her. She had no limp when she was shipped.

    I think you've got half the battle won treating the wound ,dry area ,isolated. Just need time now , right ... good luck, thanks for a view of real life 👍

    We had a calf get stuck in a gate this spring tore a big hole into his knee then it got infected. Had to put the poor guy down
