      I don't want to speak for everyone but for me, I find myself thinking about alcohol from time to time. even yesterday, i felt like I was getting tired of working all the time and needed some fun but realized i could be out drinking but instead, i switched the mindset. i ended up doing a workout, editing a video and playing madden. lol

    I'm 4 months sober today. I drank mostly by myself for YEARS, on average about 12 beers a night, every night. I agree with alot of what you said (heart health, sugar cravings )minus the social aspect of it.
    I truly miss the feeling of the initial buzz but I'm pretty sure that if I try just one drink than I'll basically be back to square 1. I stopped taking prescription pills 4 years ago and I'll say this much, alcohol has been waaaayyy harder to stop but I'm doing it. I kinda wish I could drink like a normal person but I can't. Sorry for the rant....good job and good luck man!

      No need to apologize for the rant. More than happy to read it. Congratulations on 4 months friend. I feel the same way. I’m hoping to get back to moderate drinking but not sure if I’ll be able to do that without binging. Plus, I really do feel amazing without it. Thanks for sharing your story.

      There is no “normal person “ drinking. They just hide it well. Hope you’re still abstaining from the poison. Guess you’d be about 6 months now; same as me, 200 days no alcohol.

      I'm using the WIreless Gro Pro II mics. The beautiful of these mics is you get two of them and you can a backup of the audio on the wireless transmitter. congrats on day 20!!!!

    Great info in the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. Was a super relief I didn't need AA or meds either.

    Man Im almost a month sober and still waiting to feel great. I really hope I do otherwise it means alcohol wasnt the problem. Im going dry on weed too as Im compensating with it. MJ withdrawal isnt mentioned as painful but its very subtle. Weird sleep, anxious, irritability. I feel I can go back to alcohol but my blood pressure and bpms while being intoxicated are enough themselves not to. I was hoping to perceive some weight loss by now but I will wait for the 3 months mark. I recall a few years ago I lost weight very easily mostly during a sabatical. I guess it was the whole sabatical thing vs regular system-slave aka rabbit hole lifestyle.

    • @jarnard
      @jarnard  ปีที่แล้ว

      sometimes it definitely take longer for others and some things like sleep, brain or physical attributes comes slower for others. i had a friend who did no alcohol for 90 days and she said she never noticed the difference in her sleep or anything. she was fairly healthy tho.

    Curious on how long you had been daily drinking before quitting cold turkey? My dr suggested cutting back over the course of 3 weeks before completing quitting. But I can’t really moderate, so that’s been a problem.

    • @jarnard
      @jarnard  ปีที่แล้ว

      I was drinking like 2 to 3 drinks daily . Before I went cold Turkey I did scale back. I went maybe a few days without drinking and then would have 1 or 2 (on a work trip). Came home and didn’t drink. Memorial Day weekend was my last weekend of binge drinking
