Dude you got to build the Daytona International Speedway. Nascar was really on the rise in the 80s and it would be so fucking cool to see a Nascar track.
Here's a new character for Sunset City living in the new neighborhood. Crimson Maile is a famous actor who is mainly known for his lead roles in the films "Bounty Hunter" (a film like Bullitt), and "Agent 11" (James Bond). He is also an avid car enthusiast with several classics in his collection including a 1959 light blue Cadillac Eldorado, a 1965 gray custom Ford Bronco, a black 1965 Ford LTD, a black 1985 Buick Grand National, a white 1980 Lamborghini Countach, a 1954 Hudson Hornet, a 1965 Chevy Bel Air, and many others. He is a generally classy guy and can often be seen in the nicer parts of the city driving around in his 1969 red Mustang Mach 1.
Character idea: a guy called Trent Jackson who used to live in the trailer park but when the lottery jackpot and now is neighbours to fabio. About a year has passed since then and he now plans to demolish the old trailer park to make room for his new start up business.
You should add an italian restaurant owned by the Giuseppe family with the man in charge being a laid back and chill man name Raffaele "Raffo" Giuseppe. The restaurant has been passed down through several generations leading now to Raffo. His family has been in the restaurant business for a long time in Sunset City, like a really long time. Raffaele enjoys talking to guests and in general being very down to earth with everyone. In terms of character model he could be in his early 40s, almost fit body type. He regularly checks on with his mother, Maria to care for her in her trailer in the park you made and enjoys cooking for her (his father lost his life in WW2 and his mother is currently in her late 80s). In terms of names for the restaurant Giuseppe's just works. Don't know where the restaurant would be located. Raffo drives a 1983 VW Golf GTI.
Okay, a lot to cover here about Miami. Mexican restaurants are primarily found in Homestead, though there were a few scattered elsewhere, just not Little Havana. The Workshop has an asset called Palacio de los Jugos which is a staple in the community. In your timeline there may have been one built. Vizcaya has a huge hospital next to it, is located in a very affluent neighborhood and can be accessed by the elevated train (Metrorail) that runs in the city. The University here can also be accessed by that same train. Both are located along US1. The University here is also located in a very affluent neighborhood, The City of Coral Gables, which has their own way of looking at themselves, for example all the sidewalks are a pinkish color. Are you going to build farms? Homestead and The Redlands have lots of farms here. The homes in the Redlands sit on huge plots, at the time the requirement was to buy five acres in order to build a home. The city you're building is beautiful! I love this series!
One idea I have is that the university was originally named “Sunset City University” but in the 1950s-1970s, the university switched its name to “Francisco de Castro University” after the person who built the massive villa in Flamingo bay. I was thinking that the person who built the villa was a Cuban, named Francisco de Castro. He immigrated to sunset city in 1889, at 17 with just a few dollars. I’m not sure how he rose to success but he possibly could’ve been a famous musician, artist, or actor. Towards his 30s in the 1900s, he built the villa with his massive fortune. During his life he spent much of his money to help the poor and build up the small Cuban neighborhood. In his will, he left the villa to the city as a museum and today is idolized as one of sunset cities greatest Cubans.
For the villa i think it would be great to have a similar story regarding the industrial owner. Maybe around the run down industrial areas (particularly around the waterways) there can be worn down signs of his former business. Adds a good backstory to sunset city?
I think the detail and the story of this city really elevates my love for this series. I think the owner of the railroad company should live in the trailer park or one mansion, if he lives in a mansion it’s because he works for the mafia and smuggles there “goods” from place to place. Great series!
For the trailer park character, maybe some kind of high ranking criminal? Just thinking in terms of how there's been an expansion on the underbelly of sunset city lately. I personally like the idea of some kind of Gus Fring type character, who seems like an ordinary, even friendly guy, but is secretly running a high profile crime operation on the side. Maybe he even lords power over Mike Burgundy, and runs his operation by blackmailing Mike (although that might be a bit too on the nose).
Maybe you could add some "Drug Wars" In the city. During the 70's and 80's there were big drug wars in Miami (hundreds of people died). But maybe a hideout of some sort and distribution center? There could also be another crime scene involving one of these cartel members? Just a bit of lore to add to your amazing city! Edit: you could also add a drug lords mansion
I have an idea for a character: She is Tina Toolster, a recently graduated super smart girl in her 20's who has a keen interest in technology and is following the development of computers with huge interest. She works in the local arcade fixing the games and due to her reputation, she gets called by the TV station to fix things there too from time to time. However her dream is bigger. Living in a trailer home, moved from the country side to the big city, she is often dreaming at night about using computers to lighten the workload. Her roommate Roberto knows how to hook her up with a computer for cheap and she is impatiently waiting to give all her savings to start her big dream of pioneering the spreadsheet computer programs
The owner of the large mansion is a noble family that had its roots in the area well before Sunset City was born, and there were only 1 or 2 smaller villages in the area.
The first villa/museum that you put down could be owned by the city's founder (Mr. Set?) or founders family, perhaps could also tie into a character who is currently in Sunset City, a specific someone who is having issues with his restaurant chain ;D
Im currently a freshman at Umiami so it’s super cool to see you build it in Sunset City! Feel free to reach out if u ever want any on site photos of it down to the road
Hey Two Dollars, as a native of Clearwater, I think Clearwater would fit really nicely into Sunset City, could you add a section inspired by Clearwater?

Love the city by the way, and after you said the things about the flamingos, I thought it would be a great idea to include peacocks. Peacocks, here in Miami, literally roam the streets especially in Coral Gables. I have heard people complaining about peacocks waking them up in the middle of the night with their screeches, though…
This is an amazing episode! The cinematics! The time=lapses! The LORE! One note for realism: Boats are usually tied-up with the aft-end facing the pier, not the bow. The aft-end is where people embark. Kinda like how cars are sometimes encouraged to back-in to parking spaces.
Awesome episode! I can’t believe how much you got done. I think that villa would have been built by one of the old-school robber barons, who probably made their money from Latin American fruit (bananas) or maybe the railroad stretching to Sunset City (or even a former streetcar network). In the present day, it might be home to new money - maybe an actor or TV personality.
I live down the street from Vizcaya and go to the University of Miami so this episode was a treat for me. I watched it 3 times and keep noticing things that are like what's outside my window. Super cool!
Love the way the city is coming along, one really cool thing you could add in the area inspired by Coral Gables is the Biltmore hotel. In the 80s this hotel was actually completely abandoned and wasn’t restored to a hotel until the end of the decade. A friends dad has many stories of exploring the abandoned hotel at night as a teenager in the early 80s, it would be cool to see something like this fit into your version of Miami
Sooo good ! Just need to add a White Ferrari "Testarossa" (=>miami vice) parked somewhere in a mansion and it will be all good :) Once again, well done, it's a real pleasure to watch this series...

I think it would be cool to have gangs in the city who do the dirty work for some of these shady corporations and rich people in Sunset City. Like maybe the Marsh Street Gang lives in the new trailer park neighborhood and they do a lot of illegal shenanigans for Fab Soda like dumping chemicals in the swamp lands. I think it would also be cool to have a roller blading gang since the city is based off Miami in the 80's. Maybe there's rival gang that lives in the same neighborhood or near by who help runs an illegal gambling operations taking bets on underground rollerblading races on the beach after dark. You can call them the (Insert future beach name) Rollers or something like that. Anyrate, love the new episode! This series has been a lot of fun
Img acadamy is a big high school in the middle of no where in Florida. It is there for sports players for them to get better. You should do a big acadamy in the middle of nowhere in sunset city
Maybe the person living in the mansion (around 12:30) is a rather infamous lawyer that continually has managed to get his rather shady clients out of trouble despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary (saul goodman type character), maybe his absurdly high consultation prices are getting funnelled into the pockets of the sunset court judges and the jurors(?) I'd figure maybe he's working with everyone's favourite Fabio Booster, given Fabio's recent troubles he probably has also had involvement with industry lobbies and has managed to get some unpopular bills through state government, especially regarding food safety laws edit: i'd also say he has the gardens and the mansion open as a museum/tourist attraction as part of his public image very cliché yes edit 2: this just popped into my head, maybe his name could be a play on words for pork barrelling, feels like something that man would do, maybe Fiscus MacGuire (I think thats the right spelling) adding onto that, the name MacGuire could come from his Irish roots, where his great grandfather founded a large railroad which connected the ports of the northeast to the Seminole state, providing jobs specifically for irish immigrants
the trailer park could be called "Soggy Bottom" lol also you should consider adding a tv station building for the local news channel. maybe they have a story of some Rupert Murdoch character coming in and taking over, or some dedicated investigative journalists looking into corruption and some of the shady businesses in Sunset city, looking at you king buns 👀
Fabio Boosters wealth, should make him able to live on a private island! That way a helicopter is way more convenient when traveling too and from work. A small sized island next to Santa Julia or somewhere else, close to the Sunset City bay!
Jackie Jets lives in the trailer park with her grandmother. She is the mistress of Fabio and recently got her first staring roll in an adult film and has quickly captured the attention of other powerful figures in Sunset City as a piece of arm candy. She is hardly ever home at the trailer park since she has been living the high life, but she loves her gran and vous to always take care of her.
70 years ago, James Duncraig entered Sunset City with five dollars and a dream. 30 Years Later, he has revolutionised the industrial sector in Sunset City. He has developed Duncraig Industrial Park, a sprawling manufacturing complex, building commercial goods for all surrounding shops in the area, providing they are ok with the exploitation of the factory workers he employs. He decides to build a villa off the coast of a newly founded 'Flamingo Bay' where he lives out the rest of his days avoiding any consequences for his actions and drinking on the beach. 40 Years Later, Lisa Duncraig (Granddaughter) has run into some financial troubles. Her grandfathers once impressive sprawl of an industrial complex has been sold to some 'new-age developers' with a focus of public transport in the industry themed urban-renewal project. To keep herself out of debt, she had to sell the villa to the city to be made into a public garden, and Lisa has to move into a nearby trailer park and try to remake the fortune her family lost so many years ago. Thanks for reading!
If youre worried about space, lots of colleges share stadiums with their local professional teams. In fact U Miami plays their american football games where the Miami Dolphins (NFL) play in hardrock stadium! Also it would be really cool if you added Fraternity houses, lots of dingy large homes close to each other!
They’re called canals in Florida, they were used to bring the fresh water to the ocean in more organized ways instead of how the Everglades naturally flow
For the character that lives in the trailer park,I think he should be a working man who owns a construction business, there’s construction going on downtown so I think that is what he’s working on at the moment,he can also have ties with the bigger more wealthy people, like Fabio.Maybe Fabio hired him to build his house or maybe he had some part building the radio station. He’s certainly not rich and I think he struggles like any man does.Maybe he owes some people some money.I think his name should be Gary Philips and he owns” Philips construction and Lumbering”or something along those lines
John Rendic is a successful business men, owner of Rendic Tacos, he has just opened a 2 store in 1983. He is a very humble men, coming from a poor childhood, and he has a very humble personality.
19:10 you can use BOB to get rid of the fences, it's an easy to use mod that lets you play with props and trees of assets. I know you said you don't want anymore mods but it's easy, even helping on the performance and very useful, it's great for customizing buildings which you do a lot in this project with all the custom buildings and brands. You can also use it to remove unwanted parking lots for example, which you always have problems with.
@twodollarstwenty - @12:12 with the Manor home (museum) was owned by Francesco "The Flamingo" Jackson Jr. (born in 1879 - 1914), The Flamingo grew up wealthy as his family was in ship building not only for people but for Navy, Francesco Jackson his father Sr. Was also as The Flamingo during the Boar War but Died. Has 4 children (2 boys (served in WW2 but 1 lived to have Silas Jackson). 1 died at 12 During a stray shoot off (mafia and police)
Man alrighty I'll just drop some suggestions here as I go. So for the trailer park character in the flooded area, one Idea I have in mind is it could be someone who is running for mayor of the city, tired of the neglect happening to their neighborhood and many other parts of the city with the gang wars and neglect, and wants to make a change, able to start rallies and gain support for their causes. Will they succeed though? Who knows. The little trailer park neighborhood they're from could perhaps be named "Salmon patch" or "Salmons landing" due to salmon colonies coming there to lay eggs every year, sometimes ending up below people's trailers once the water receeds. Legend even goes of 1 salmon coming from there that is so big it would jump out of the water and bodyslam people, able to break their ribs.
How about calling the trailer park *Trevor's Landing?* It's a double reference to Trevor from GTA5, as well as Thieves' landing in RDR and RDR2, with Seth Briars living nearby.
The home should be the former house of Lafayette Pointer, a famous architect during the art deco period in the 1930’s. He built the house to resemble Cuban villas. He was the main financier of flamingo bay and a influential member of Sunset City society.
I've got the perfect character for the motor homes! Taking inspiration from 2 Fast 2 Furious, a street racer could live there. They spend all their money on their sick ride that's parked outside the motor home, and that's why they choose to live there. Maybe we call him Brian O'Donnell (he's obviously changed his name to escape his past), and his car could also pop up in different places in the city where some shady dealings could be happening 👀P.S. an odd detail about Miami is that a lot of suburbs have these wild chickens roaming around them. Not sure if there is a spawn point for chickens in the game, but they could e a great bit of detail to add P.P.S - shoutout for representing my alma mater! Go Canes!
A character for the trailer park could be a bit of a lower class lady who happens to be the mother of Mike burgundy’s secret illegitimate child. So he keeps them close by having bought them a trailer home, but also he’s a bit of an ass so even tho he definitely had the money to buy them a nice home he didn’t because he’s again not a good guy. So now she lives there with their child, and maybe she’s building a good life for herself and the kid or she’s turned to a life of crime, and can tie into the gang storyline you were looking for in one of the last episodes!
LOVE the city, so beautiful. I think you are the best CS youtuber ive seen. An idea for the the gang, at the docks, could be called "Piranhas". that name would also explain their torture method.
Maybe the person in the trailer park works at the broadcasting center as some sort of intern or entry level worker. He learns about the dumping of hazardous materials and wonders how he can get this information out to the public.
The flood-prone trailer park could be called Sallis Bottoms, after the Marvel Comics character Dr. Theodore "Ted" Sallis, aka Man-Thing. Alternately, it could be Olsen Bottoms, after the DC Comics character Alex Olsen, aka Swamp Thing. They are virtually the same swamp monster characters, and debuted within a couple months of each other, Man-Thing being first in May 1971, and Swamp Thing in July 1971
the museum made me think of the braithwaite manor from rdr2 and i feel like once you get out of the city more you can make something similar to that estate and plantation with the long road and trees on the side. i think this would be perfect for a character who’s family has owned it since the 1800s but also merge the idea with jurassic world fallen kingdom and have some sneaky black market stuff going on, not dinosaurs but maybe soemthing else
You should build a small college town. A small city that thrives from the university in the center. Several of these exist in the U.S including Indiana University where I go to college!
Thats such a good idea! Universities in the game also make so much money, maybe have a big University Hospital or Olympic facilities that make it popular.
I'd imagine the developers of that second trailer park called it something a bit misleading, like "Cottage Creek". Also, those things aren't motor homes (RVs) - they're "trailer" homes, so named 'cause they can fit onto a trailer. E: University would be Seminole State University, possibly with a "- Sunset City" added if it's not the only university in the state.
Jeffrey Dayton was a great industrialist during the early 1900s. He then bought a mansion, had some kids, and died. His grandson is Quinn Dayton, who is now the mayor of Sunset City.
I think a good idea for the trailer parks name is Treys trailers and have the character that resides in the trailers be Trey a sketchy business owner who has question businesses practices
An idea for both the mansion and the university, if the guy who made the mansion also helped fund the universites construction, and that was named after him. maybe a suggestion for the name would be Anthony Moses Jackson, with the university taking the name of Jackson University or Jackson College of Sunset city

Sunset City neighborhoods can be like this:
Coconut Grove = Palm Grove

You can call them the (Insert future beach name) Rollers or something like that. Anyrate, love the new episode! This series has been a lot of fun
Posted 1 minute ago, already made my day.
I’ve been looking for a San Francisco CS video, and so finished DirtyH’s video and all of Oceania.. what will I watch when this series is over 😭😭
That's some magic tv! it broadcasts from 40 years in the future!!!
Img acadamy is a big high school in the middle of no where in Florida. It is there for sports players for them to get better. You should do a big acadamy in the middle of nowhere in sunset city
Maybe the person living in the mansion (around 12:30) is a rather infamous lawyer that continually has managed to get his rather shady clients out of trouble despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary (saul goodman type character), maybe his absurdly high consultation prices are getting funnelled into the pockets of the sunset court judges and the jurors(?)
I'd figure maybe he's working with everyone's favourite Fabio Booster, given Fabio's recent troubles
he probably has also had involvement with industry lobbies and has managed to get some unpopular bills through state government, especially regarding food safety laws
edit: i'd also say he has the gardens and the mansion open as a museum/tourist attraction as part of his public image
very cliché yes
edit 2: this just popped into my head, maybe his name could be a play on words for pork barrelling, feels like something that man would do, maybe Fiscus MacGuire (I think thats the right spelling) adding onto that, the name MacGuire could come from his Irish roots, where his great grandfather founded a large railroad which connected the ports of the northeast to the Seminole state, providing jobs specifically for irish immigrants
the trailer park could be called "Soggy Bottom" lol
also you should consider adding a tv station building for the local news channel. maybe they have a story of some Rupert Murdoch character coming in and taking over, or some dedicated investigative journalists looking into corruption and some of the shady businesses in Sunset city, looking at you king buns 👀
I love putting trailer parks in cities. it really helps with housing and looks right :3
70 years ago, James Duncraig entered Sunset City with five dollars and a dream.
I’ve noticed a huge increase in the quality of your videos. nice job👍
This city is probably one of most story-lined CS cities that I know of.
If youre worried about space, lots of colleges share stadiums with their local professional teams. In fact U Miami plays their american football games where the Miami Dolphins (NFL) play in hardrock stadium!
Also it would be really cool if you added Fraternity houses, lots of dingy large homes close to each other!
Mansions look realistic, It's amazing.
"Next time gonna be a shorter one". I realy like the Builds and i love to see them. Even beeing longer then 30min + :D
John Rendic is a successful business men, owner of Rendic Tacos, he has just opened a 2 store in 1983. He is a very humble men, coming from a poor childhood, and he has a very humble personality.
He has a tiny house and a old car
'Now that's a lot of goodies and gizmos, for a lot of goodies and gizmos"
-Two dollars twenty, 2023
I really like longer episodes! Love how the university turned out.
This Is Amazing! Keep Doing What You Do Best!
The segue into the Manscaped ad is MINT. Well done, m8.
I dont want shorter episodes. Thank you.
you should make one of the gangs in the trailer homes
Ive been in Florida for awhile, these videos are so cool and really satisfying lol
That second swampy trailer park is definitely called "Forest Marsh".
How about calling the trailer park *Trevor's Landing?*
It's a double reference to Trevor from GTA5, as well as Thieves' landing in RDR and RDR2, with Seth Briars living nearby.
We love long episodes. Especially 30 mins+
Not sure if there is a spawn point for chickens in the game, but they could e a great bit of detail to add
P.P.S - shoutout for representing my alma mater!
Was getting some "They Live" vibes from the old tv on the ground.
When you get the edges of the city you should put in some greenhouses, florida has a large export of tropical plants and it shows in many places
I love that you call canals tiny rivers ❤
The characters name should be Roberto. He is a mob boss that has a secret factory in the TV station with workers in the Cuban district.
For the first Villa from the early 1900’s I was thinking maybe the founder of Sunset City lived there and now it is a Museum on them.
I think that is the first time I've seen your face. That Manscaped ad was hilarious.
You should have a character named swampy Pete live in the trailer park. The owner of a local used car lot
Hahahaha the segue into the ad was perfect mate
Silas should have a truck parked on his driveaway that he spends all his spare time working on creating his dream truck
They are virtually the same swamp monster characters, and debuted within a couple months of each other, Man-Thing being first in May 1971, and Swamp Thing in July 1971
my day gets better when u upload love your vids:)
the museum made me think of the braithwaite manor from rdr2 and i feel like once you get out of the city more you can make something similar to that estate and plantation with the long road and trees on the side. i think this would be perfect for a character who’s family has owned it since the 1800s but also merge the idea with jurassic world fallen kingdom and have some sneaky black market stuff going on, not dinosaurs but maybe soemthing else
You should build a small college town. A small city that thrives from the university in the center. Several of these exist in the U.S including Indiana University where I go to college!
Thats such a good idea! Universities in the game also make so much money, maybe have a big University Hospital or Olympic facilities that make it popular.
You gotta appreciate the effort for that ad
I'd imagine the developers of that second trailer park called it something a bit misleading, like "Cottage Creek".
Also, those things aren't motor homes (RVs) - they're "trailer" homes, so named 'cause they can fit onto a trailer.
E: University would be Seminole State University, possibly with a "- Sunset City" added if it's not the only university in the state.
Jeffrey Dayton was a great industrialist during the early 1900s. He then bought a mansion, had some kids, and died. His grandson is Quinn Dayton, who is now the mayor of Sunset City.
The university could be called the “Dayton Educational Institution”
I think a good idea for the trailer parks name is Treys trailers and have the character that resides in the trailers be Trey a sketchy business owner who has question businesses practices
Ahah ! Best advertisement ever ! (et une superbe mise en abîme 👍😂)
An idea for both the mansion and the university, if the guy who made the mansion also helped fund the universites construction, and that was named after him. maybe a suggestion for the name would be Anthony Moses Jackson, with the university taking the name of Jackson University or Jackson College of Sunset city
35 min! Always love the long vids from you 🎉
bro nobody is complaining how long the episode is. as long as it's not full of timelapse and music lol
I think Silas Jackson should have his own trucking stop for people to stop there
