The ending of the song is so exciting. The "Right now", "right now". Her voice is amazing. So controlled and yet so passionate.
She is thus far the only person who made this song her own. Every other version imitates the original Ronettes' version down to the instruments. She did it a different tempo and mood and made this song feel so much more intimate than the original. (The Ronettes version is still my favorite but damn this comes close. It's one you could slow dance to.)

Had Ms Cissy been born a few years later, she'd have been right up there in R&B/Pop with Aretha, Gladys, Tina or Patti. Just take a look at what Whitney became. Gospel lost a star, pop gained one with Ms Cissy, finest, purest vocalist in music, period. "Right up there" as the Greatest, no doubt.
