when rolcontainers are falling out of the truck, there is no way of stopping it, better to let it fall. full rolcontainers with milk or beer can be 300-400kg heavy, the guy trying to save it was not smart

I helped with off loading in my teenage years working at AH. Definitely seen some dodgy stuff, I myself had two full containers with crates of grapes and other fruits fall of the back. Scattered everywhere 🤣 Also my toes have gotten stuck under the tail lift, that was quite painfull but only lost a nail in the end...
Ive worked at retail for 6 years but ive never had to do the truck unloading as I didn't work in the morning, but the amount of things dropped inside the store is quite a lot, both by customers and colleagues
Fake sale prices are illegal. I don't know the exact details, but it has to refer to what has been the actual price for at least some legally specified amount of time. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen of course, but the big chain stores aren't going to take that risk. If it happens there, it's probably a genuine mistake.

After a year or 2 I just developed a spidy sense of things dropping so whenever i was doing my work i'd sometimes just catch something mid air falling
