I've heard Eric Sardenas as well on tour with Steve Vai before. Also a great artist as well. Uli is a modern day classical composer. True visionary. Steve Morse, just plain the best. G3 just gets better and better. Steve Vai is taking it to a whole new level.
The drummer Jamie Little is less prominent on the video. He is a brilliant session drummer. The best part is he is buying my Audi A8 this Saturday :). Looking forward to meet him. Steve Vai is a brilliant guitar player, not sure about his singing though.

Vai seemed to be held back here. It didn't work for me. It was like having a chocolate and cheese sandwich. But that's just a personal opinion. They're all great in their own rights though.
Nothing comes close to a vintage Fender Stratocaster US model. IMO. With no processors, must be a Marshall Plexi. Then it comes close to Jimi's sound. It must be turned up to 11.
