To explain the difference between "clan" and "tribe" here for anyone who's confused: A tribe is essentially an alliance of several clans. In American terms, if you're a Sartarite, your clan is your hometown, your tribe is your home state, and the kingdom of Sartar is your country.
Except that tribes can *definitely* secede.

So I've been playing RuneQuest since the 80's. I am very happy that you are doing this.
I'm a newcomer to RuneQuest too, so I'm glad you're doing these videos. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
I am new to Glorantha. The nameing culture of Sartarites seems to be son/daughter of (parent first name). I imagine parents name is fathers name but i can be wrong on this. So exampel Esrovula Broyan´s daugheter would be a name.
And if Esrovula is traveling outside her clan to other clans she might ad her clan name as well. And if she travels outside her clan she might add her tribe. So a full name and introduction might be Esrovula Broyan´s daugheter of clan Anmagan of tribe Colymar. Or you switch tribe and clan to Esrovula Broyan´s daugheter of tribe Colymar of clan Anmagan.
I don´t know excatly in what order but i base this partly on characters on pregenerated characters on page 84 where the first characters name is Vasana Farnan´s Daugheter. This is at least how i view it at the moment and please correct me if i am wrong or in what order you put clan vs tribe in a full introduction of a character.

Just FYI - The old but updated PC, and now tablet, game "King Of Dragon Pass" is based in Glorantha.
The one in which you RP as a tribal chieftain, making all kinds of tribal leadership decisions. Interesting and unusual indie game that still remains so to this day. I grabbed it on GOG long ago.

I know it's been a while but it's also interesting to note that the game is about the founding of the Kingdom of Sartar.
Though you can pick another name in the game and the Colymar are actually a rival of yours.
The 'Legend' reference though. I could see a game set in that world using these rules.
pro tip: put page numbers on the character sheet for reference.

The core book contains material about adventuring in general. The Bestiary is a separate book.
