I'd like to see a prequel with Grandpa fighting vampires in whatever era he was a younger man.
What makes you think grandpa fought vampires?
You are exactly the target audience Hollywood is after today. They want to sequelize and prequelize every popular property from the past but for a "modern" audience. With that I'm sure you'll get your wish but be prepared for a non-binary grandpa not slaying vampires but rather shouting at them the whole movie because they misgendered "them."
@@19film80you’re joking right?
@@Notnmywatchplaya I’m serious!

Lost Boys is 80's magic. Once in a lifetime stuff....Happy to have lived it.....
Same here. Still have my vhs copy.
Love love that movie. I went to see that with my cousin!
@@pamschmith4606 That will be gold. The imperfections and static only go to provide that genuine authenticity that can't be replicated
Alex Winter is our generations most underrated comedic actor.
It's a shame he hasn't been in a million more movies.
have not watched lost boys in decades, did not know Bill from Bill and Ted was in it.
He was in the beginning "pretty Boy" era, had he come up when Pacino, Voight, Hoffman, and all those guys of the "unconventional" leading man era, he probably would have been a bigger star.
45 year old dad who showed his 15 year old daughter The Lost Boys for the first time about 6 months ago. I sat her down and said…”it’s time”. She loved it and I never felt more pride. We have watched it 3 more times since. One thing I truly realized watching it with her that I took for granted…is that EVERY vampire death is absolutely epic and the special effects and makeup for each death is truly amazing. I’d rank the creativity and technical execution up there with anything ever produced on film.
To this day The Lost Boys is still one of my favourite movies ever.

Absolutely
This movie and Fright Night are my 2 favorite vampire movies that came out of the eighties!
They remade the Fright Night movies, there's 2 newer movies that are much better than The Lost Boys reboots.
Damn right! 🤘🏾
mine are this and near dark. the eighties was such a great time for vampires
Monster Squad here
Love both yet if i had to pick one to rewatch its lost boys 1
Tim Capello .. a lovely man. He lived in an apartment complex in Hollywood that my mother managed. While he was doing this film he had parked his car in long term parking at the LAX airport. Somehow he lost his keys while he was working on the movie so he called my mother and she had me and my boyfriend at the time take a spare set of his keys to LAX and hide them in his car at like 2 AM so he could drive himself home after he flew in. We loved the movie and were so happy and proud of him to have been a part of it.
That is an awesome story. Thank you.
Cool story well done way to lend a hand 😎👍🏻
"You'll never grow old you'll never die but you must feed."
How could a million Chinese people be wrong...
Without a doubt, Kiefer's mullet in that movie will always be super badass iconic
The guy sitting next to him hair wasn’t NO SLOUCH either. 🤣
These guys are legends
Kiefer was a big crush of mine and I’m still star struck every time he speaks
Me too❤
Jamie Gertz was my first movie crush...that lasted way longer than I expected
... I had the hots for her Less Than Zero
Now she’s richest female in the world or something like that
I still believe!
Mine was Buffy can't help but notice how buffy vampires look alot like lost boy vamps.

Jason Patric's dad is the priest in The Exorcist. His grandfather is Jackie Gleason
Yeah and he really could have mentioned both. 🤷♀
Wow..stardom runs in his veins 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
Also read that his grandfather Jackie Gleason, didn't have much to do with him as a child. He wasn't close to him whatsoever. Why? Couldn't say. But a great movie family heritage to hail from thou.
@@wicked_ace4053 wow it runs in the family 👌

The scene where they walk up on the hill on the beach after they massacre the beach party is one of the most iconic scenes in film history.
OMG The Lost Boys is my favorite vampire movie ever❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The fact they got these three guys, is like the perfect reunion to this amazing classic.
I did see it in the theater and even at a drive-in. I was 18, and it was amazing. I remember riding home from the theater on my motorcycle with Lost Boys music playing in my head. Great memories.
❤ What a great memory. Must of been an amazing experience!
" Say hello to the night! Lost in the shadows" I remember buying that soundtrack on cassette tape!
Me too still have it!❤
This was the ultimate slumber party vhs to play. A bowl of m&m’s, Doritos and a slew of girls camped out with their sleeping bags excited and enraptured. I can’t think of a better slumber party movie! 🍿
Yes!!!
THE LOST BOYS IS A AWSOME MOVIE!!! I LOVED THE SOUNDTRACK TOO!!!
We’re seeing a lot more of these cast reunions but I’d like to see Jami Gertz do one
To be fair I think she is pretty busy attending to her billion-dollar empire...
She’s too rich to want to want to do a reunion. She’s worth 8 BILLION dollars!
Before Twilight These Were the Original Vampire Heart Trobs 💯🔥
The Lost Boys is my all time favorite vampire film. It came out in 1987 the year I was born. I bought the Movie Poster and had it hanging in my house. Absolutely love the cast
Kiefer talking about getting cast leaves out that having Donald as a father couldn't have hurt.
Kiefer did this & his dad did Buffy movie.
Jason Patrics' dad was also an actor. Also his grandfather was, Jackie Gleason.
The late great Donald upset quite a few people in Hollywood over the years , and Kiefer has said that the Sutherland name closed as many doors as it opened early in his career …
i'm not a vampire movie, tv show fan. The Lost Boys will always be my favorite movie. i'm a 86 baby
This was awesome!!! Love The Lost Boys and all the awesome actors in it!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jason Patrick's dad was Jason Miller (Father Damien Karras).
Kiefer Sutherland did an underrated movie: 2008's "Mirrors". Just my opinion, it was great. Final showdown with demon was...also great! Such a shame it doesn't get more recognition.
That bathtub scene was too much I thought.
Jason's grandfather is Jackie Gleason too
I really liked Mirrors, great movie. Like you, I think it's really very underrated.
I love Mirrors! I remember watching it in theaters! I still own it too!
One of my favourite things about this movie was the look of the vampires they looked super edgy and cool. One of my all time favourite movies
Kiefer seems like a very positive person. I like it.
Kiefer's voice and mannerisms seem to carry a gravitas inherited from his father to which he has made his own. His face and mannerisms are iconic, unique, and memorable. If you listen to his voice, you know it's Kiefer. I believe that is why he is frequently cast.
Jason Patrick was the best actor in the film. He had more of a emotional rollercoaster to deal with. The main ingredients to a good film is a great story and great actors.
Perhaps, but Patrick is and was very arrogant. Humble is not a quality he possessed. I honestly believe that is why his career never blossomed, that and his hairline. Poor guy was damn near bald by 30.

Hes done alot of good movies no one's ever seen,1 with Jennifer Jason Leigh & Greg Allman where's he undercover cop rush, Incognito where he forges artworks.real good movies
He was amazing in Rush and Narc. Ironically, playing an undercover, drug using cop in both.
@Musso88 that's one I was talking about Rush, ever seen incognito where he's art forger great movie
Bill & Ted is one of the best movies of all time \m/
Loved this movie in the 80s and still love it
SO fun and timeless it's an 80s classic - always fresh! I remember seeing it at theater back in 1987 with my college boyfriend! The music, vibe, feast for the eye, humor, vampire horror it was just such a perfect movie. I wanted to be Jami Gertz with her boho gypsy chic look that was way ahead of it's time.
That flowy skirt with the denim top part?!! I STILL WANT IT
I had hair just like Jami’s ….once 😢
Woooo! Santa Cruz! When the SC Boardwalk started playing movies on the beach about a decade ago they opened it with this movie and they had Corey Feldman's band perform. It was great!
My favorite quote from the movie is when Grandpa turns the car on with Sam to go to town, and then turns it off and says, "that's as close to ton as I like to get"!
Some movies are so perfect and iconic that they must NEVER be remade. This movie is one of them.
I was pregnant with my 2nd son when I saw LB. All of my kids and grandchildren love this movie.
I went to a matinee show, wound up leaving around 1 am. Saw each showing that day.
Death by stereo, classic line
Was my favorite from the whole movie!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes I was gonna say that was my favorite line
Great cast of guys. Jason Patric's grandfather was Jackie Gleason and Kiefer Sutherland's grandfather was Tommy Douglas, a politician who laid the foundation for eventual universal health care in Canada.
I got to chat with Ian McCulloch about the People Are Strange cover for this movie, which was a real treat as I love Echo and I love the Lost Boys.
Legendary film, 🎥 watched it a thousand times, still amazing
I really love The Lost Boys! All my kids till now still watch it till this day cause I wanted them to have a piece of my era while growing up and this film is so incredible, it’s just timeless. Meeting these guys would definitely be one of my top favorite moments, just to be in their presence and take pictures
Growing up in the Midwest in the 80s, this film had everything we craved
Escapism, kick ass music, great story, good acting, production, costumes etc. i burned thu 2 cassettes I bought then another 3 I had recorded on
Would love to see a sequel with Jason as the grumpy grandpa and the others really didn’t die? Plus a decent cast backing them, but it could probably dilute the appeal of the 1st
same in Canada
24 was/is still, absolute gold!
They need to properly wrap that up. They left jack hanging again.
"I didn't invite you this time, Max."
I fell in love with Santa Cruz because of this movie. Still love that city.
The Lost Boys is classic and could never be redone. I am addicted to that movie and had the biggest crush on Jason Patric. Now like Kiefer said I’ve introduced my kids to it and they love it just as much.
One of the best movies. Growing up in the 80s was amazing!
I think I was in 5th or 6th grade when the movie came out. I had a Lost Boys t-shirt that I wore all the time because I loved the movie so much. What a great film! Watching this panel makes me want to watch it again.
The Lost Boys is one of My FAVORITE Movies of all time.
I’ve watched it AT LEAST, 25 times over the years.
I watched The Lost Boys when I was 10 years old and like everyone else of my generation it became a huge part of my childhood it was my go to film. Just recently I introduced my 12 soon to be 13 year old to it and it's now going to be a huge part of her childhood as she's obsessed with it the same way I was. The Lost Boys has impacted many, many people qnd it's great to see it being passed down the generations! It's a film that truly deserves it!
Thanks for uploading. Lost boys is a true classic. Jason Patric is a funny guy
Thanks, Kiefer! Thanks, Alex! Thanks, Jason! 🧛
I Wish Alex Winter Did more movies. He was a staple of my youth with This movie and Bill n Ted.
Freaks
I work as a chauffeur and drove Jason Patric to the hotel he stayed at for this con. He seemed like a very cool and sweet guy. I need to see more of his work honestly, even though I'd of course known of him for many years. I'm a huge fan of 'The Exorcist', which his late dad Jason Miller starred in, so I had to discuss that a bit w/ him.
Try narc,speed 2,the losers,sleepers.
@@garypasquill2355 I'll pass on 'Speed 2' haha, but yeah, 'Sleepers' would be worth a revisit (I first saw it at too young an age and never finished after the 3rd act/trial segment). Also need to look at 'Rush', w/ him, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bruce Dern. Had the pleasure of meeting Dern once.
@@tf8696Rush is a dark movie, but Jason and Jennifer are really good in it.
The beast is another great movie. Jason plays a Russian tank crew member who is in Afghanistan.
Incognito where he plays an art forger is one of those great movies no one's ever seen.
Thank you for the upload. Definitely missed the panel but thankful I got to meet them in person
My girlfriend and I were there. It was a lot of fun!
I love the Lost Boys and always will! It’s an iconic 80’s movie! I never turn down a chance to watch it! ❤❤❤
I'm the same age as these guys and when the movie came out i knew they had caught lightning in a bottle.
I didn’t sleep for 3 days after I saw this for the first time . I couldn’t eat rice for at least a year 😂 sometimes when I’m eating rice now it pops in my head to this day 😂
That's because you're not eating rice, you're eating maggots...how do they taste?
@@daviddarko5837 😂🤮
Jason Patric was incredible in Narc with Ray Liotta.
and he was great in the movie Rush
Narc is highly underrated.
He good in one with Jennifer Jason Leigh and Greg Allman too where he's undercover narc cop, also real good movie with him no one's ever seen is Incognito where he forges paintings.

Kiefer's Corey Haim story about the bow and arrow was too cute! I would have loved to have seen all of the cast reunited.
R.I.P. to Joel, Corey Haim, Brooke, and Edward ❤
This is amazing Lost Boys forever rip to the rest of the cast, Jason Patric and Alex Winter(thanks for bringing back Bill)and Keifer Sutherland aka Jack I hope you bring back your show💖💕 I am old but I am young
No Corey Feldman???
This gives me so much joy. Thank you for posting this. ❤
Brooke McCarter was unable to attend as he passed away a few years ago.
He was a good friend of my brother’s. Real down to earth, wonderful guy. (He was the blonde vampire behind Alex and Kiefer).
Joel Shumaker gets a lot of heat with the Batman movies. But he was a great, caring, very innovative director. He really was a great director. Btw my sister and I saw this movie 7 times that summer and read the novelization over and over
I love these panels
Would be cool to just have the vampires panel.
Awesome panel even tho I've heard all these stories many times. ...lol
You can never get enough!!
Kiefer is so right with his words about 'you think one project will blow up and it fails, you think something will fail and it blows up.'
That's everything in life. Jobs, relationships, decisions we make...
If I could meet 2 celebs... (yet one is past away) it would be Kiefer and River Phoenix. The things they say are always so relatable.
have they ever done a 24 panel with Kiefer? i would love to see a Reunion with some of the recurring actors throughout the seasons..maybe not mainstream enough for this
24 was the best. They still owe it a proper ending.
Just don’t invite Freddie Prinze JR 🤣🤣
35:56 THIS is VERY important. Completely agree. You don't have to say anything to say a lot. They made it happen and that's amazing. I personally love the acting of them all. Their faces, their attitude the way they look at there people in the movie, the style. Great job man, like pretty good job imo.
Saw Lost Boys in the theater in '87. Far and away the best line that got the biggest audience reaction was, "HOLY SHIT, the attack of Eddie Munster!"
Listening to this while I’m cooking breakfast. Jason sounds just like Alan Alda. It’s crazy!
Alex winter is so lovely, naturally likeable.
Lost Boys and Near Dark are my 2 faves for 80 vampire movies
Definitely! And I'm most certainly add Fright night to that list
This movie is one of my top favorite movies ever made.

The Lost Boys - a perfect movie for a Friday night with popcorn and snacks whether you're a teen or an adult. I've had this on VHS, x2 DVD's, Blu-ray and 4K, and just missed the 4K special box set edition, but still haven't seen the 2nd movie (or 3rd / 4th if they exist)
Such a great movie , the 90s were amazing but the 80s has a few gems like this
A few gems? The 80s had a ton. Probably more than the 90s. Lol
@@danceswithcomicbooks7733truth.
80s had the best movies of all time. Et. Goonies. 48 hrs. Trading places. Rocky 3. Top gun. Ghostbusters. Too many to name.
I was hoping they'd cut to Corey Feldman shirtless playing a sax and singing "I still believe"
😂💀
This is a good panel. I still wanna know if theres any truth to Kiefer not participating in any panels that Corey Feldman attends.
Holy shit I just now realized that Donald Sutherland was Kiefer's dad. Can't believe I never made that connection. RIP
Despite the vampire stuff, this story is big because this ia a movie about brotherhood, and how the younger brother tried to save his old brother, which in sort of way that's his father figure, because they just have their mother. That's the deep meaning of this movie, and the timeless topic. I aways give this advice to other younger parents, have at least two kids, never has only one kid, sibblings always gonna be an aliance against the issues of life, aside of us as the parents.
I’m surprised Jason Patrick and Kiefer Sutherland, even appear in the same room together. they used to be best friends until Jason literally ran off with Julia Roberts, ON THE DAY OF THEIR WEDDING. That’s right Gen Z’s Julia Roberts left Kiefer Sutherland at the altar and ran off with his best friend… What a class act she is. but let’s be real. Julia was the one doing the running 🙄 I suppose you get over these things… And let’s be real Kiefer Sutherland is it national treasure and he dodged a bullet.
Not true. Do your research. They called it off days before the wedding. Keifer and Jason made up in 2010. All of them are friends now.
I ain't got a home, wooo ohh wooo!

My son's name is Vladimir and his nickname is LADDY after Chance's character. We met all the Lost Boys at Monstermania when my son was 2 and he went up to his hotel room and. Ane back with an autographed photo for us. My son is now 21. If he gets a chance he's gonna buy Chance a drink!❤😂

22:00 interesting that Kiefer was not directly impacted by being the son of Donald Sutherland. Also - Jason Patric is SO funny throughout this!
He’s made a name in his own right and understands the business. His mother was an actress as well. It was probably just another day in the business.
