Hello, my cellphone is a basic android and I use the app Kinemaster. It's free. Eventually I would like to invest some money into my channel. Camera and editing software are two things I want badly.

I love your tip about the mirror! Had not thought of that. Using an iPhone 7 and I think the back facing camera is highly superior to the front on it, so I needed that!

Excellent tips from beautiful Gillian, because other TH-camrs talk to you about it, but they don´t talk about the settings in the cell phone and the importance of the use of something holding on the phone. Also, the tip of how to edit was magic.

What phone and editing program do you use?

I'm wanting to start my channel on TH-cam to answer questions people have for their grandma (or mom) but for some reason they can't. In my neck of the woods everyone calls me "everybody's grandma". I want to share the little details of living that people may want a personal touch, ie: ask their grandma. How to do basic cooking, sewing, cleaning, camping, gardening, etc. This video goes a long way in helping me get it all together. Thanks

Use a MIRROR!!! Best tip ever!!! So simple, yet so effective! Thank-you for that tip Gillian! Oh and love the Gorilla stand, next on my to-get list. Learned about them years ago and love how they can be wrapped around things, like tree branches, etc. to get great angles in places where a regular stand just wouldn't do the trick, plus of course smaller to lug around than a regular tripod! Big Hugs!

I have a iPhone 11 and a twitchy Kindle Fire but I am very passionate about having a channel about prepping for everything if the world turns upside down. I already have a FB following on my group and page but I want to work really hard to have one here because I think the information is soooo important. I want it where you can see me in the corner but I can show the videos of other or articles. Thank you for this video. I learned a lot!

Nice vid....would I want to size the frames in square size or 16:9, you said the square was better for Instagram. If I don’t currently have Instagram but will add in the future, wouldn’t I want all vids in square to keep frames
