Do you ever have families that ask you to pick out their puppy for them, and is that something that you are willing to do? I ask because if I do get a. Doodle from you, I would ask that you choose the puppy. I am not interested in color or appearance, so I do very much care about correct, and sound structure. I am interested in temperament, and getting a dog that would best meet my lifestyle. And part of my criteria when working with a breeder is that the breeder choose the dog for me. No matter how many times I can meet the puppy or how many pictures, I don't know the dogs as well as the breeder. So I prefer to build a relationship with someone, then give them my criteria/wants/needs in a dog, and trust that they will pick out the most suitable dog for me. This has been my experience from my first dog, and I don't see myself straying from that.
i do have families ask me to pick from them. that is exciting for me and i do use their thoughts in the process too! and its so much fun. i definitely agree that temperament should be the way of picking over look- but i do know if someone WANTS a certain look- they need to be willing to wait for look AND temperament to both match.
@@SilverCreekGoldendoodles Yay! Well, if I ever become a client of yours, I will tell you where my influences of dogs come from and why I am so adamant about having someone else pick. I've learned from my current experience, though that as lovely as little dogs are, I will not be raising or training another rat terrier. this size (Casper is going to be about 10 to 12 pounds.) physically, it's harder because I constantly have to bend down, and I find it super exhausting.
I do know that if I ever get a Doodle, I would want a bigger one. Other than that, I have no color or even gender preference, as long as the dog has the right temperament, the right energy level, and can fit into my lifestyle.

I have 4 small dogs ( 2 toy poodles, a miniature poodle and a mixed breed rescue (possibly a chihuahua/maltese mix) I would love more but being retired I can't afford another dog.
How lovely to see the pups meet their new families. Maybe the ladies shouldn't wear earrings as every pup seemed to be immediately attracted to them. Hope none swallowed any of them.
How much will these minis weigh full-size?
these are mini-mediums. mom is 38lbs and dad is 28lbs. so they should be inbetween!
