Our island and other Caribbean islands were created from earthquakes and volcanoes. This is part of the geological history. The understanding from this video helps us appreciate this.

I think about Jamaica's fault line very often ever since the 7.7 magnitude earthquake which took place is 2020. One day a major earthquake will hit Jamaica, but I don't want to die or have anyone of my loved ones suffer from it.

Another excellent video. I hope this helps people better understand and prepare for the coming earthquakes. My government is doing nothing to mitigate covid19 and so there's hundreds of thousands of needless deaths here. I hope your government is less corrupt than mine.

So sorry to hear your story. I hope you survived Covid. Useless & corrupt do condemn governments so many people to needless death.
I'm lucky enough to live in a state in the US where even GOP politicians can't be as useless and corrupt as they are in the southern US states. But they'd like to be.

      @@edwardlulofs444 Glad you have.
In answer to your question...yes! There are people who live in relatively sane countries that look after the people who live there, and who try not to make things worse.
There are even some states in the US that are mostly like that.
But it's up to the voters to require it of their politicians and to get their arses out to vote.

Great video, thanks. I live just north of the main, central strike/slip fault, in Ewarton. If we get a big one, I'll be moving west.

This my take on matter look rich take hills poor keep living like privateers of port royal well I want to move my family to the hill not blue mountain but somewhere move safe to survive next 1692 or 1907 earthquakes as I have experienced 1992 earthquake right on north street in around 9 tishes on 10AM I for get how ground move and we I was on premise and lesson I was learning at the time was different plates in Caribbean... even my teacher run out the class in 3 form so I foreseen one coming with 10 magnitude for Kingston and tsunami wave rising up to far as papine and lower barbican areas .
