8 locomotive, 239 car BNSF empty Mega coal train (1,004 axle), plus Peterbilt semi truck!

- Since I got a few requests on the mega coal train, I left this one unedited, so feel free to count the cars! This one had 1,004 axles on the detector and went by pretty quickly!

1. NB BNSF coal (empty) - Greenland, CO (double length coal empty with 4 mid-DPU's!)
2. Gorgeous purple Peterbilt hauling a Swift trailer!

I generally film trains on the Union Pacific / BNSF Joint Line in Colorado, but I also travel farther south to catch trains on the BNSF Southern Transcon in Texas and Arizona, as well as the Union Pacific Sunset Route.

You wonder 🤔 what kind of wear or damage to the Units that Railroads cause themselves with PSR ? 🤪👎
Very true, Ken! It does make you wonder… I’m sure it is detrimental to the health of these locomotives, and even the cars, too!
@@trains5.9 I don't think BNSF really does much as far as PSR is concerned. Yes they do combine trains like they do here so I think they do their own slight form of it. Still though it's nothing like CSX and Norfolk Southern do. I've heard that Warren Buffett despises PSR so I don't think he'd let it get but so much out of control.
