NOSTALGIA RULES! Over NHRA big show! 330 mph is cool. BUT give me 1/4 mile with a variety of cars. Were everyone does"nt have to be a BILLONAIRE to run one!
Its great. What would make it even better for me is if the rules stated the Funnycars had to run period correct bodies from the 1960s/70s with small adjustments only. I agree, the modern racing has gone past the realms of reality. I think these still are expensive but nothing like the Big Show.
Wish these nostalgia funnies had 35 gallon pumps like their cousins in Australia. Then you would hear real thunder and see big header flames !! Be nice to see deep, smoky burnouts, too !!
@@fastracingandhotrods6891 Not just trying to be critical, but the 21 gallon nostalgia funnies here in the U.S.A. are boring. No smoky burnouts, no header flames, no thunder etc.
@@ScottCole-sb8fyI know what you mean. Australian style rules where they could run quicker. A traditional funnycar category would be good with no wind tunnel type bodies allowed also.
Absolutely brilliant! Thanks for another great upload. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thankyou!! Had some great racing. Much appreciated!!

These cars still have a subtle "coolness" to them. Cooler than big show funnies by a mile !

I think they are running 5.20s/30s over there. I agree its a great form of nostalgia racing. They have got them running quick. Up to 280mph!

Didn't realize they were running that quick and that fast in Australia ! That is
cool. Love to see that here in the states.
@@ScottCole-sb8fy I don't know the exact numbers but think they have run near those times.
