That's a legacy change with a lot of vehicles. They haven't been consistent on changing it for many vehicles like the IT-1, Rakejadpz HOT, Rakejadpadaiz the one with keyboard mouse, Type 60 ATM, Shturm-S etc. When they release a vehicle that has an exposed missile it can be killed.

@Kwisss the only issue with those is that they all have closed off crew compartments that open up to allow the missile launcher to be reloaded and immediately close off again once in their firing position. The Kriz has an open hull that should overpressured it since it's an open top that only closes when the launcher is inside.

I think the reason you get maps back to back so often is because of the way their servers work. I'd imagine that a server will keep a specific map loaded for a few games to maximize uptime, and so if you end up reconnecting to the same server after you get out of a match you will still be on that same map
Out of all the ATGM capable vehicles, this is far my favorite. High Pen and a fuck ton of explosives makes sure the tank is obliterated by sheer overpressure. This is a vehicle that will always have a spot in my lineup in its br or 11.7.
You can and should also "lower" the search area of the radar from 8 degrees to 3 degrees it becomes a lot better at acquiring ground level targets hiding behind foliage
You should revisit the Mephisto, it's still a very strong vehicle for the French tree and i have it locked in my lineup from 8.7 and above getting 8 kills at 11.7
This vehicle aint OP its situational. No one really plays it either as its an end of the line vehicle that is 9.7. Most people just skip this to grind to 11.7.

My RU stats are comically better than any other nation I have (all of them including bluewater, no coastal, matchmaking blows too much). My best non RU top tier nation is Sweden which consequently has an export T80 that outperforms both STRVs lol. The Swedish T80 is twice as mobile as my aced Leo’s, not to mention 5 times more survivable 😂
I love seeing strela gameplay I’ve been using it extensively for antiCAS for giggles. Also love to see the kristima content honestly a really good vehicle when played right.
The Wiesel 1a2 and the strv9040 bill atgms don't have drop when fired either. The Wiesel's launcher aims a bit above the cursor aim point, don't know if the Bill does that too.
I think its still broken, but when they fix it pull the radar down when you can, its an easier spot to hit with an HE round. One of only 2 methods (3 with top down atgm's) to kill that thing when properly hull down.

I think what's happening with the map rotation is that as more BR restrictions on maps are added in, the interaction with map filter preferences across the match maker is just causing spam since the window of possibilities is narrowed even further :/
Also every map released after 2015 is likely to be banned by at least one player in every match. The type of players who leave after one death hate learning new maps.
You should play the IPM1 now that it's 11.0. May seem bad at first but a 5 second reload with aced crew is insane. And the M900 shell is still more than capable of penetrating armor with the usual weak spots. Also the reduced turret armor hardly matters, cause people think your a normal abrams and don't shoot the turret cheeks.
The only tank I know of that has an RWR is the M1 Thumper, which isn't in the game. Probably the reason why they're not common at all is because the radar on the Khrizantema most likely just shows a radar generated image on a monitor (like how the F-15E can) instead of being something that can lock onto targets like an SPAA radar
One big disadvantage this has is that you can't play it on every map, I took this out for a couple of games and most of the maps weren't good for this thus making the experience so much harder. This thing can really thrive in large, open maps though. By the way, how do you get the big, green radar? I always get the small one.
Map rotation problem is more prominent in air RB I remember getting the same map 13 times back to back in top tier. It was Afghanistan It's banned for me ever since
The IT-1 is also seriously broken, IRL it had a minimum range at about 500m as the missile was not guided for the first 2.5 seconds, and fired 15 degrees above the sightline.. and also kinda useless when there was radio jamming active
This tank is pretty decent for sure, however I feel like the 775 is just better, when I first played the 775 I was absolute dog crap in it and struggled hard, but after learning how to use it, it’s very quickly become one of my fave tanks, the main thing is the super responsive barrel launched atgm like damn! It’s super fast and it responds to input so well! And ontop of that you have the ability to kneel the tank down for extra depression or even lower the whole vehicle down for a smaller profile, then add ontop of that the amazing composite in the front of the hull and turret, it’s an incredible machine :) and at a lower br than the krisanthema, difference being the misssile doesn’t have 1200mm pen 😊 love your videos justin
Nah, the 775 is terrible and terrible at 10.0. If rather have this atgm carrier that can somewhat run burn rills, hull down easier, has better pen and over pressure, can lock on to things if needed, 2 shots back to back, and honestly just bounce shots better when angled.
To be honest out of every vic i have used this one has 1. Bounced the most shots outa anything in my lineup 2. Survived bei g hit because people aim for the tubes and end up hitting the stem instead leaving me fine. Also my radar amd port holes like to eat sabots
the issue with your screen is probably not your graphicscard. I have a 4090 and have the same issue sometimes that the screen goes black for like 1 sec and its prob. an issue with your eletric circuit. for some reason if there are any weird voltage peaks in your house for example shutters going down, this happens.
Think the lack of map rotation has not been talked about enough cause Gaijen has made this astigmatism that the whole getting the same map many times in a row is just bad luck on the players part and really dont think that idea has aged very well cause if anything its not rare isolated incidents.
I feel like that if the US were to get their own subtree, it would most likely be a unified South American one. With ground, air and navel vehicles from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, and whatever else Gaijin can find.

This has ground radar which allows you to sort of aim behind cover to remedy against the bad optic placement and kill tanks in smoke, gen 2/3 thermals, better reverse, neutral steering etc.

It's a nice vehicle and does well with a more passive playstyle but its situational like most ATGM carriers in the game. At it's BR it usually fights 10.3 anyways due to premium tier. I feel a big part of the missile being responsive is how fast it is at 550 m/s. Not saying Gaijin should fix TOWs, BMP 1/2 Konkurs missile physics but the speed makes it feels so responsive and less prone to the live game latency bug the TOW/slower missile faces. The Type 89's missile got buffed recently to fly better and hopefully they can do that to the TOW/konkurs.
Wish tow2b was how it use to be, it will probably be the strongest atgm beating most to everything if it was real life. but at the same time, its understandable for the nerf, 😭

3:10 GG the launcher no longer points exactly where your gunner sight is so the missile will also flop onto the floor in many cases. Awesome
If you fire missiles with the radar lock, the first one follows the lock, but the second follows the optic.
you can increase the range of the radar with scope scale in the Y menu/controls

Not saying Gaijin should fix TOWs, BMP 1/2 Konkurs missile physics but the speed makes it feels so responsive and less prone to the live game latency bug the TOW/slower missile faces. The Type 89's missile got buffed recently to fly better and hopefully they can do that to the TOW/konkurs.
Wish tow2b was how it use to be, it will probably be the strongest atgm beating most to everything if it was real life. but at the same time, its understandable for the nerf, 😭
