Can someone explain how the tokens shorikai creates work? I thought you could straight up tap them to crew anything alone. Does 2 or greater mean 3, or does it mean anything 2 or above
Can Any one tell me where to find a good deck list? I bought this commander deck and the Samurai Serpent too but dunno how to make a 100 card deck haha

A crewed vehicle is a creature, but it won’t be crewed during the opponent untap. All it will do is untap any creatures that crewed so you aren’t COMPLETELY tapped out, just half.
@@irishviking6444 I meant like... your JUST crewed vehicle won't untap. Which is like kinda pointless in a vehicle deck. Might as well have Unwinding Clock (and this card).
@@CommanderMechanic true that basics are fine, I just wish we could get a few good utility lands, especially since this is a two colour deck with such low reprint value :/
I love the flavour of this deck, however I'd love it if they'd added more value in any way possible. Do less basics and give us the Kamigawa lands Instead. At least give us a talisman
@@CommanderMechanic i agree 100%! But in an artifact deck is realy enough room for some (untapped) utility lands, even in a precon, i dont know the exakt Number, but 30 basics in such a Deck, is way to much imho
This is the LOWEST ever Pre-con reprint value deck, the bottom three ALL being Azorious really shows how much Wizards hate this colour combo. $53 odd in reprints is a real shame. I wont be going the boring route myself. Infinite draw and mana is just bland, boring and over done on so many commanders. Im going Spirits and Moonfolk Vehicle myself - because Spirits piloting mechs is awesome.
Even though the reprint value is hot garbage, however the new cards in this precon are dedicated to artifacts or the deck itself and the power level on them is not something to scoff at. I feel like this precon is fair and should be upgraded with good artifact stuff. The upgrades unleashed got more value probably because doing modified in commander is just not viable.
@@TheMystcast The problem is, this is the THIRD Azorious pre-con and each one has been less value than the last. They could have EASILY improved the valuable ditching some of the basics for better lands and for a start adding better planeswalkers. Tezzeret, Artifice Master for example would have been a very solid and not too expensive addition but defo more vale than Jace, Architect of Thought who has been reprinted SIX times. The card has no value and just isnt even good for the deck. If they arent going to put effort into the planeswalkers they add, just dont add them. None really have any value and most of the time arent even that good for the deck anyway.
Oh look, WOTC came up with yet another expansion with tons of artifacts support, ignoring the other thousands of possibilities. Could be because artifacts can be played with any mana base/commander colours and that means shitty offer/demand balance leading to more purchases of sealed products? 😏
Out of everything coming out of Neon Dynasty, a vehicle focus was unexpected, but quite welcome in this set.
I wish Kotori and Shorikai had "Partner with", still this precon looks fun, thinking using Kotori with Collosal Plow.

Those Pilot tokens that Shorikai make tap for 3. 'As though their power was 2 greater" and they're 1/1 so they'd tap as 3/1 for crew costs

Kappa Canoneer included in the precon is around $15 at the moment. It is an accidental Legacy/Vintage powerhouse a la True Name Nemesis.

FYI I believe Shorikai’s tokens crew for 3 because it states “two greater.” Please correct me if I’m wrong.

each token can pay for Crew 3 on their own. two can pay for Crew 6, etc.

@@ne0komodo no, I was agreeing. It’s good, but needs artifact untap, immediate untap, something like that. The vehicles don’t benefit.
“Thee mana base has so many less tap lands” - meanwhile the mana base has 28 basics
There's nothing wrong with Basic lands - they're much better than you think!

30, the alt art ones are on the "other" part of the list as unique listings (Ukiyo-e Plains/Island) despite being basics.

The Omenkeel can be your commander, Shorikai is not the only vehicle that can
Naw Cosima can be your commander, but you can CAST Omenkeel from your command zone.
But the Lands...yeah, less etb tapped, but also Like 30 basics, in an artifact deck, lol!😅

The mech should be able to crew and partner with any Planeswalker. Should also give a Planeswalker This can be your commander outside the game.
