I'm happy I found you. I'm not only learning so much but you are inspiring me. What I enjoy most is using simple everyday stuff you have at home. The cinnamon? Coffee? What an awesome effect non toxic and it smells wonderful! Also keeps cost way down. I have been buying distress paint for all my projects. No more! My answer to your craft question. I grown and preserve flowers. Crafting with flowers is ny fave. Using mod pod bottles paint jars etc I create bouquets pict cards book marks all kinds of stuff! Once again happy I found you
I AM BLOWN AWAY!!!!! Your DIY’s are INCREDIBLE!!!! Jen, they look like the most high end primitive containers that you would see at the stores! I absolutely love all of them! Santa in the cheese ball container is EVERYTHING!!!! I Love it all and you are so very talented! Time to dig through my recyclables!!!! lol! Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!! 🎄⭐️
Thank you! You are so sweet! I’m so happy you love the cheese ball container. That was my favorite and so many ways to use it for the holidays and then just turn it around to use the rest of the year! Have a lovely day!🤗
I love every single one of these. I KNEW there was a reason I save glass jars and those Wal Mart coffee containers. I thank you from the bottom of my little hoarding heart, LOL. If you need cute and economical gifts for a bunch of people, I think the Reindeer Food label bags filled with a special Chex Christmas mix would be so nice and different too. I really like that it doesn't take a dozen things to make each one. These are really do-able.
This video is awesome…love all your projects! I have shelves that I like to keep decorated, for an entire season so I made items with dual sides; fall/Halloween or Christmas/winter. Doing this allows you to change the theme of the display by simply rotating the item to the desired image without having to redo the entire display. This not only saves time but allows you to enjoy the display longer!
I love these and make them all the time! It is relaxing to me too and I love primitive items. I absolutely love the printables you used and your vignettes! Thanks for sharing!
I love all of these! Absolutely loved the first Christmas craft video too! For the spiced fruits can- adding a dried orange with the greenery would be beautiful too! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas! 🎄✂️
Not my style but I think I might try a couple of these for my kitchen. They all turned out so pretty. Thanks for a different way of looking at every day things.
All these are precious! I like the rustic look just not as rustic as you’re doing. I’ll do a mix of traditional with a slight distress or slightly antique it. Thanks for all the ideas. ❤❤❤❤
@ yes but she gave me lots of inspiration and ideas for some jars. So many possibilities. I love to “antique” with folkart paints and maybe tea stain the label slightly
Jen… so much fun, and absolutely adorable! I have a cheeseball container. But would you believe I started my barn quilt too… I’m loving it so far. It’s very prim… black and mustard. I’m going to sand it lightly and wax it with a thin coat of brown wax. Thank you for great projects that I’ll actually use…🍁
Hi Jen. As always, I'm excited to see a new video in my notifications from you! 😊 Two questions...1...how do you get all the modpodge and cinnamon/coffee off your hands? 2...how do you fix the sharp edges on the cans and lids?
Hi! Thanks! I’m so happy you enjoy my ideas. I keep baby wipes in my craft room and use them. I use a can opener that opens them with a clean edge. I would recommend going around the edges and sand them down if you have any rough edges. 🤗
So sweet. Like I have said before. I bet it smells divine with the cinnamon and coffee grounds . Snickerdoodle cookies and coffee comes to mind . Dies the smell last or dies it fade with the sealer
These are amazing. They labels are wonderful, thanks for linking those for us. Christmas is the perfect time to add old fashioned rustic pieces to your holiday decor. I am super excited to get started!
Three are so darling! Thank you for the inspiration, Jen! I have several cans in my craft room that are ready to go! I just need to grab those printables...
Hi Jenn! I'm a huge recycler, and I love these vintage look crafts! Way to go! Your primitive touch is rustic and so creative. Absolutely love all of these. Hard to choose a favorite, but the big cheese ball one would hold a good sized tree with some weight in the bottom. You are always inspiring. I truly enjoy watching you. I feel like I am right there in the room with you. Love your personality! TFS Nana Brenda

I agree! I love it but it's way too distressed for me, too much cinnamon. Takes away from the beauty of it in my opinion.
@ yes but she gave me lots of inspiration and ideas for some jars. So many possibilities. I love to “antique” with folkart paints and maybe tea stain the label slightly

Did you dry the orange rounds or did you buy them
@mothertyme I made the gingerbread wreath but how do you keep it from breaking? I sprayed it with a sealant but the cookies are breaking. Any tips?
