- How Christianity is spreading in Nepal despite conversion ban.
Last year pastor Keshav Acharya was jailed for religion conversion. Despite strict laws that ban religious conversion, Christianity has spread rapidly over the last two decades in Nepal. Different foreign organizations are providing funds to promote Christinity in Nepal.
Nepal has one of the fastest growing Christian populations in the world. Mainly Dalits, and other marginalized groups, are leading a surge in the growth of Christianity in Nepal. The Federation of National Christian Nepal says 65% of Christians are Dalits. The growth of Christianity is driven by three things Money, Faith Healing and Discrimination.

i am buddhist. from childhood i was curious about different religious and culture. through my research the main motive of every religion has been to protect humanity. it is not our religion fault for discrimination and hate .it's our own fault for not following our religion properly and not understanding it.

Thank u for raising this issue I'm from India my neighbors recently converted to Christianity and every time they come at our house starts preaching us why to convert they use violent slurs at us for reading Hanuman chaliss , celebrating our festivals etc.. we're moving out of here in July 2024 it is too difficult to live here now , they're bigoted they claim that since Jesus died for us and clearing our sins coz absolutely we're sinful from birth ,so it doesn't matter what we do!since we're free from karma so pray to Christ .. I'm like whaaatttt? Even Krishna has to suffer human like to respect humanity and respect karma.

And had multiple operations
And when i was 16 i was diagnosed with cancer 4th stage...
I went through chemo multiple times and it never worked out
And during that period i found jesus.
Im not gonna say by becoming a Christian you are already healed or anything..
Bt by my belief in jesus, i was healed, it was the belief that i found in jesus that made me being able to still walk and have a decent life...

I had been doing so many bad stuffs before,losing myself on anything thats how i was. But believing in christ changed everything, I felt love, i felt calm for everything. My depression got cured by just praying and following his message. The revival, the peace, I am sure no religion will give u but christianity is not a religion but a rlnship with god. I am a Christian and I am deeply saddened by the way many Christians and specially Pastors falling into the love of fame, power and money. Also the fake teachings and wrong practices of Christianity, not only those of Catholics, Yehovah’s Witness, faith healers or so many different false denominations but those of so-called Protestants is hurting Christianity. Greed, envy, lust and all kind of sins have easily made their way inside the Church. There are so many things going inside the Protestants church today that Bible forbids and we should really get rid of those. But also there are few who truly love God with all their heart, all their mind, all their soul and all their strength. There are few who truly love their neighbors as they love themselves. And in true love, I can tell that Christianity is the truth. In fact, it’s the only Truth. My humble requests to fellow brothers and sisters in Christ; “Do not follow your Pastor if he teaches out of Bible, do not try to be like the Christians in your Church who doesn’t walk according to the teachings of the Scriptures. Read it for yourself, pray and keep reminding yourselves the words of God. Please present yourselves as the genuine followers of Christ. Love God with all you have for He is the One who gave what you have and love your neighbors as you love yourself.” Let not the world get bad impression of Christianity because of us but we are to be lovingly humble and genuine ambassadors of Christ to the world. Please get on your knees for our nation and its lost people.
In Christian society, anything that deviates from the fundamental teaching of the Bible is a human being's intervention and counterattack on Biblical teachings and I won't be surprised as it is already mentioned or it was like so even during the time of Jesus as he was preaching about the Kingdom of God in Galilee region whereas in the same time, in his name some people were performing miracles (like our faith healers) and spreading the wrong message in the region of Jerusalem. Folks be patient, the day will come when true believers will be separated from fake believers or preachers and they will get their karma, and righteous people by doing good works with faith will get their own karma. God bless everyone and may he give wisdom to those jerks.

Its really true. I am Nepali and currently at USA for my undergrad. Here I am at small suburb area and its like a village, but they send each year more than 20 christian missionaries to Nepal specially in remote areas cause they are easy to manipulate.
Even they try act to be friendly to us, but almost in every conversation they try to add some points of jesus or bible.
One time he even asked me what is stopping you from accepting jesus? I mean i have huge respect for Christianity and every religion but some of them really don't seem good.
Just from a small suburb area they send 20 people, imagine from the entire country. Its good to change on your free will but its really nasty to manipulate them.

The CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) of Christians in Nepal in the 50 years period was 12.67% whih is huge. And yes if the same rate have continued then the number of Christians have reached 31,61,022 (Equivalent to 10.84% of entire population). Even if we assume that it's 5%, that would be nearly 5X from the last census's 1.4%. So the problem is huge. I used to ignore this conversion stuff in the past. When one of my close cousins got into an argument with me then I decided to research the facts and I was shocked. It's good that you are addressing the topic. I totally agree with the content.
