i have been seeing alot of debate on the New System" yes or no bricking BCM's. How do you tyyell if system is new or not? How do we research this prior to avoid bricking? Some people say always press no, but I've heard doing that can brick it too if its newer style
In 2:39 it says "Is the ignition turned on by pressing Start buttonn twice" you say "all keys lost" and then you answer yourself no and select no. But the car does run by pressing the Star button twice. Did I missunderstood something? Thanks in advice.
Great video! Question, can you only use the Autel blank keys or can you also use factory key fobs? And can you use this tool when replacing the body control module program the original keys? (2020 civic) Thanks!
@@JoeDLocksmith thanks for the info! I’m fairly new to the Autel world. Just trying to figure out what tool I should be looking at, sounds like the IM608 should work.
Because it's the old style key had he clicked yes the bcm would have got bricked. This a very costly mistake that will end with a no start and bad bcm.
You make the work look easy, thanks alot.

Yes you can use factory fobs. KM100 cannot replace bcm - need IM508 or IM608
