When the Disney Heroes are in trouble, it’s up to the Sidekicks to save the day! Treacherous Disney Villains have teamed up and captured your favorite Disney Heroes, locking them in a well-guarded castle. As crafty and courageous Disney Sidekicks, you must work together in this cooperative strategy game to rescue the Heroes, save the local Villagers, and defeat the Villains. But it won’t be easy - the Villains will throw everything at you to defend the castle, from castle guards and hyenas to loyal Henchmen and magical curses. On each turn, you and your fellow Sidekicks will face new dangers and challenges, trying to stay healthy while preventing the Villains from reaching their goals. These instructions are literally like the longest SAT reading comprehension problem. My friend bought this game and we’re still setting it up and trying to understand the rules after an hour.
My Daughter bought this game for my 3 grandkids And we are sooooo beyond confused on how to play it. But the time we set it all up and tried to play it with the kids they were beyond frustrated and had no interest in playing it anymore. So much for family game night😶.
Anyone who thinks this game is "too hard" clearly didnt take the time to sit down and read the instructions. This isn't the kind of game where you can open it, and kinda figure it out on the day you wanna play with everyone. (Any proper strategy game takes time to learn). It's not that hard if you put a bit of time into it
This is 100%. Although the rules aren’t perfect, what is more confusing to me is how so many people have trouble understanding them. 😂.
I played it for the first time, two players , Scar and Jaffar. I lost on the last turn. Jaffar was defeated , Abu saved Aladdin, and Pumba was on his way to rescuing Simba when Scar attacked.

Why did the henchmen/hyena attack when scar did as well? I thought only villains attack when adjacent and henchmen attack when they’re in the same space and as directed by cards.
And same with the attacking by the side kick. I thought you can only attack a henchman when you’re on their space and a villain when you’re adjacent.
If you land in a henchmen space they attack you as well according to the rules
So now I understand how this game made it to a dollar store lmao most confusing game available for Disney lol the video confused me more than the rules. Thank you for making and I’m glad you were able to understand it but I sure as heck did not lol

This game is badly designed and virtually unwinnable. 90% of games result in the castle being filled - and that's with only 2 players.
With 4 players, the odds are extremely high that you'll lose before all 4 players get to have a turn - it only takes 1 Villager or Guard to be forced into the castle and thats it, game over.
The best you can say about it is that its fast...we played 8x 3 player games in 2-3 hours today. Lost every single one.
Just as we lost all of the 2 player games I played for my first 2 sessions (6-10 at a guess).
That is a mark of awful game design.
