Good video, just a tip is to just lower your background music a little bit, I find myself at times trying to turn up the volume to hear you but the music drowns you out.

I had originally said that I was going to upload a How to Play video for Disney Sidekicks but the editing is taking too long so I am moving Gladius from its Friday slot to Monday so I can have a few extra days to finish Sidekicks. We just got this game for Christmas and it is so confusing! What happens when you start a turn adjacent to a villain - if they don't move, do they still attack you at the beginning of your turn? Same with henchmen, if you fail to defeat them and you're still there with them, do they attack again at the beginning of your turn?
I feel like something is very off in this game. Myself and a few others on boardgamegeek are finding it insanely hard given the setup, particularly on the 2/3 player board. It seems some rules are missing or something. Or maybe the game is underdeveloped. It's interesting there are NO reviews and it had a stalled release too. It seems SpinMaster wants to sweep this one under the rug.
I think with maybe some house rules and adjustments this could be a fun game. With the Disney sidekicks and villains this could have been the gateway game for the next generation of tabletop gamers as it has minis, asymmetric game mechanics, with leveling as you play. This could have been a nice series of games like "Villainous". Thanks for your comment. That number indicates the number of actions that you can do during the action phase of your turn (move, attack, unlock, rescue, and rest). This is another correction in the newest version of the rulebook. On page 8 "The Action Phase" section second paragraph "On your turn, you perform actions. The number of actions you can perform is indicated at the bottom left corner of your character card." In the old rulebook it says "top left corner" I point the rule out in my gameplay video that I will be dropping next Monday. Thanks for your question. So that side of the dice gives the advantage to the attacker. So if it gets rolled when the villain attacks it counts as a slashes side and it's a hit. If you roll it as a sidekick attack then it counts as a thumbs up. It is explained in the newest versions of the rules. I have a link to it in the description above. I just wanted to help with the confusing setup rules that's why the video is a little long. I will be doing a how to play and play through that will drop next week since I see many people asking for gameplay explanations. Thanks for your comment.
