Since this wasn't my farst time playing this game, I figured that after a few flights with the initial plane, at around 6Milion dollars in my bank, I figured the best way to earn start your company faster was by buying the B737-800 at $4,407,858. Now I'm at 5 B737-800 planes with 4M dollars and 8m fuel.
Yeah I recently started with the 737-800 as I was using the 737-700er and the -800 is alot better definitely, I now have 23 million and looking to swap to the 737-max 10 soon😊
Actually, get the A320 and sell it for more than 737-800. Buy as many DC-9-10s or Bae 146-300s with that money. Use points to increase fuel/co2 capacity, Buy when it's cheap and don't focus on fuel efficiency as much as speed and pax. Don't forget to max ticket prices.
Skip the Saab junk and go directly to DC 9-10. It's fast and has 90 pax. Fuel efficiency not great, but I only bought 6 to make money for better planes. B727-100, ERJ 190-200, and TU330 series are excellent. Fuel economy is good on all. Tu 204-120 is excellent short to medium range. I use it from major hubs for 2000-2500km trips to other large cities. MC21-400 is another very fast plane with great pax and poor fuel economy. It makes up for it with extra trips due to it's speed. B737-900ER and B737 MAX 10 for long range until you can afford the 300+ seat class.
Started with saab 340s but considering fuel efficeincy slowly upgrade it to ERJ145. Then wanted to increase aircraft capacity so I upgrade it to dash q 400, CRJ700NG then added TU334. Later on plan to upgrade plane I bought fuel efficient A220-100 got money from previous aircraft then changed q400 and crjs to TU 334s. As of the moment got a220-100s and tu 334s high capacity plus fuel efficient aircrafts.
My first plane was a Saab 90 scandia - $113,217 (fuel/pas ratio 3,56) The seconde is a DC-9-10 - $659,657 (fuel/pas ratio 6,34) and a Fokker 70a - $828,709 (fuel/pas ratio 8,89). Third is a boeing 737-800 - $4,407,858 (fuel/pas ratio 18,4) for low budget is a boeing 717-200 (fuel/pas ratio 14,89) the con is it has a very short range (it is suitable for people who watch every hour) fourth is the boeing 747 MAX 10 - $19,649,600 (fuel/pas ratio 32,14) best plane in price compared with fuel efficient, totally winner If you have a lot of money then you can buy those airbus 380-800 - $215,629,503 (fuel/pas ratio 28,57) best plane for pasive income and there is a 2e airbus 330-800neo - $85,325,684 (fuel/pas ratio 33,83) Best low budget. The airbus 330-900 is also good but price is higher, I prefer for the 800.
Fuel efficiency isn't always important. I used MD-90s it's really good for it's price. I have Tupolevs 334-200 & 204-120 and I want to buy "flying pencil" B757-300. I also plan to buy B737-900er

I don't know if you will see this but. I have 120 mil I just started playing whats the best planes for me to buy, i have 9 spots open id like to keep about 14ml. Just in case 737 800 is what I'm changing most of my fleet to. Is that the best buy?
Hey man. What about A220-100? I have 8 A/C, I've started Sunday. I wanna buy big airplane with range to fly intercontinental, maybe Kolkata-Dubai-London
This might be META, but selling does not decrease marketing costs, so I don't like selling planes too much. I prefer to grow organically, with the starting money you can buy B737-100 + a promoted ATR, that's 4 planes if you include the guide-enforced biplane purchase (without selling your starter)
Guys i have 60 737-10; 60 787-10; 30 777-9; 6 a350-900 ulr; 30 747-8F.I think to remove all the 737's and replace with 787-10 and 777-9 and continue to buy 747-8F for cargo fleet.I have fco as base and klax and egll as hubs. What do you think?Do you have suggestions for me?
Fuel efficiency is not that important if you can log in a lot of times. In fact, range therefore isn't either. There are a lot of planes, that have a terrible fuel efficiency, yet over 10k hours of flight, leave efficient planes with half the profit, even if fuel bought at 2500$
A check and repairs cost and staff included. 727-100 for instance will pay itself quicker than caravelle 11R and do 130% of the money per run It all comes down to how often you can log in If you can log in a lot, MC-21-400 will reape almost twice as much a day Tu-204 are nowhere near as good! Same daily profit as 737-800, but much more expensive. Lastly, 747-400D is a beast, a less than a third of 380-800, and barely makes any less money daily
Now, don't get me wrong, not a hate comment, don't get me wrong with fuel efficiency, even though fuel efficiency is not that important, you should still go for as cheap as you can with fuel
I appreciate the time spent on the video but, by neglecting the speed into these equations there's not a well rounded validity to these selections. Speed, at times, is more valuable as a measure of profitability then the fuel usage. You do at times mention speed but, not as being part of your lbs per pax equation. I wouldn't touch half of these planes. Putt putt putt. :) Again, much appreciation for the video!
speed does not matter unless you depart just after the plane lands. speed does not matte when you are sleeping. there are good things about it, but it can also be a waste
@@cheapbooks speed does matter if you want to be profitable, as I see you don't check the game very often and recommend everybody to go for the longest route and make the plane goes up in the sky longer, It beat the purpose of profitability. if you use real life logic the faster you deliver something and quickly deliver another one you can get maybe 6-10 package delivered in a day compare to the less speed you're talking with maybe 2-5 package/day.
No wonder you say the marketing is too expensive if you have less than 10 planes - you buy & sell airplanes for sport. The game makes marketing more expensive when you buy, but doesn't reduce cost while you sell. I would advise to buy planes with the idea to use them for much longer time. If you sell them you lose the benefit from marketing.
@@cheapbooks Yes, and I'm grateful for your videos, but to be honest - marketing is very useful early on. I can pay off my investment in one wave of departures and get additional profit.
@@cheapbooksI didn't mean to sound like that - what you do makes perfect sense, I'm just trying to give an example why marketing is good under certain situations. And also you might be interested why marketing is so expensive in your specific case.
These increases in the game that are not documented are completely squandering for new players. No one tells you in the beginning that 40 k marketing is added to your cost every plane you buy. Till you reach a middle game, that can add up to a million dollars for 4 hours of marketing, and your planes are not making thst much. Price of hubs are also quietly increased. Once you know these things, the ways to play the game profitably are reduced.
Go for B727-100, it will be your next stepping stone plane before going to MC-21-400 (best plane in compare to b737-800&A320-200 tier). don't bother to sell your dc-9s until you get a 20ea of mc-21-400. after mc-21-400 go for airbus a340-200/boeing 737 max 10 then go for A330-800neo as a start before the A380

most fuel efficient is A330-900neo with 33.85 passengers per fuel unit
DC-9-10 so far I used it along with Fokker 70
You also need to realize that the older aircraft wear off quicker than the newer ones. Their resale value also drops significantly.
My go-to early game plane is the ATR-42-320 and then the ATR-72-500. Cheap, good pax numbers and pretty efficient
My first plane was a Saab 90 scandia - $113,217 (fuel/pas ratio 3,56)

B737-900er one of the best planes. i have 70 of those. amazing
Which passanger plane is the best plane for under 2 million ?
Remember to check the speed and the A-Check cost
To start I use saab 340 for regional, only 100k, and fokker 100 for international, 800k with almost 4000km range and 122 capacity
I did own a lot of Saab 340's at first

I started with a few ERJ145ER and then started buying some 727-100, then I got money from this to start buying 737-8.
Your saying passengers/pound but you won’t have a full aircraft
Do you know why my planes only get 17 passengers but they have 80 seats
if they fly short routes, this would happen at the end of the day after demand was exhausted.
Or your reputation can also affect the amount of passengers getting in
some of the best planes for starting players include the Il-114-100, the Caravelle III, and the CRJ 100
is the a330 800 better than the b747 to make money?
yes

I have not played the MC21-400.
I wish the game was more interactive. Just seems all I do is buy planes, fly them... Then wait 18 hours.
Are 727s a great idea for domestic routes around the US
