Yes, there are bad ways to wash your car! Make sure you don't scratch or damage your car's finish. This video shows you the best ways to wash the car. Get rid of hard-to-remove sticky stuff with appropriate car washing products, like bugs, road grime, and tree sap. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
i never expected to laugh so hard reading comments on a car washing video
"Don't harm your finish." Clays in circular motions. lol
Otagner I'm about to get my first car .....should it be from top to bottom ?
Otagner claying in circular motions is fine but you shoulding wipe ot in circular motions
Otagner: "Circles are bad" is the biggest myth in car care/detailing. I'm about to check out your channel and i'm guessing you have either no videos at all... or no videos about detailing cars.
Otagner: Oh wow... I was right. You have zero content. Looks like the LOL is on you bro.
@@fwh79FOXR6 you called him out years later
Never use a sponge for washing your car, because you can drag some little rocks or dirt and damage the clear coat; avoid to make circular movements with the wash mitt because you could make swirls, always make flat straight movements..
Just like your cleaning your glasses or disc
you were in 2015 and ur recording 240p?!
lol
Its 2017
it got uploaded in 2015
The Whalens huh? Nah
Dwayne Pitt now it’s 2020 lmao
it would be nice to have a list of all the stuff mentioned in the video and links to it.
what tire shine was that cause it didn't do the job at all just wanted to know so I don't buy it
5:51 boi will my car protect me from fire and rocks
Did they pour a bag of mulch on the car lol
Ryan Tedesco lol
Probably

No car, in the history of cars or dirt, has ever at any point, been that dirty. Ever.
Kat Caller You're right. It looks like magnified radioactive fallout from a 1950's how-to-survive-an-atom-bomb
documentary. Even if you didn't wash your car for ten years it wouldn't look that bad.
+Kat Caller How 'bout cars that go off road?
Then you have never seen a jeep after a weekend of off roading
Kat Caller oh no didn't you hear him say that they just dug it up from under the ground? It's ancient
Bet
All that dirt but the rims were clean. Strange
ive done this with air from my compressor at the shop and it works amazing all the time, we also dry cars this way before painting or doing repairs on them! check out some of my how to videos also!
How about the wells, hinges, gas tank, trunk and hood ledges, in between the doors, under the doors, under engine, under the whole car? Especially, after the winter salts accumulate in all these spots. If its clean, it will increase life span, mileage etc. That's clean.
Have a nice day
It’s amazing how technology has made so much of this ancient
Shout-out AutoZone for showing us how to clean our car; @autozone thank you:
I bet if AutoZone sold dish soap the wouldn't say that lol
I think its funny that the guy has on dress pants and dress shoes to wash a dirty car. Who does that?
It's common sense as to why he's dress like that.
He has secks with his boss
And he's washing in circular motions. Top-notch no no right there.
and he didnt remove the tags on the towels or fold them properly or at all
Myles Hejmanowski hmm...why shouldnt that be done?
ChrisFix here
Rsh Shn
because any scratching that happens would be in circles which are easier to see and harder to remove because they'd go in the same direction as the polisher and not directly against the scratch
Myles Hejmanowski Incorrect, he isn't stripping the wax
Recommends not using dish soap because it strips wax, yet sprays bug & tar remover that strips wax just as well
Myles Hejmanowski if they sold dish soap at autozone they'd recommend using it on your vehicle
Always love the comments section
Claying ideally should be done in an up & down or side to side motion, not circular.
You can't do this in the winter when you wash your car because some times when I wash my car at a selfserve car wash the car turns to ice before I can dry my car off with micofiber cloth
then you chop it into small cubes and put in your glass along with some good vodka.
That's his job's outfit
No grit guard .
👍👍👍👍
Imma goe to autozone
might wanna goe back to school too
David Patterson bruh😂😂
Gotti

I dont wash my car much in winter
Washing in circles can produce scratches ! Wash in straight lines up n down
You call that dirt and grime? If you let your car get that dirty your better not washing it to be honest
Good video... But have to say in this particular case - don't matter how much you polish a turd :)
washing in 240p
took this video with a potato
He's not use a great card!

Your supposed to start soaping from the bottom actually. 😅
No
Like Ladies Makeup :p
I feel like that want you to spend your money on all of that
No grit guards, washing and claying in circular motions, chamois are not good for drying vehicles (absorbs water but will drag dirt from missed spots, pollen, dust, etc. across the paint) and that's part of why I buy nothing from Auto Zone for my detailing business. 🤦♀️
Ryan Buckner: Wow, I love all the videos you post on your channel showing your detailing work. I guess you're not really a detailer. Which makes sense because any one who really knows how to detail cars knows that circular motions are no different than straight lines. I'm just curious... does your buffer spin in circles or a "straight line"?
@@fwh79FOXR6 because I don't have a TH-cam account for detailing? Ok troll. However, every detailer who does (Larry Kosilla, Scott from Dallas Paint Correction, Pan, Detailing Guru, Jim White, etc) will tell you to never clay in circles. Why? Because any straight scratching are easier to remove with a polisher than those in a circular pattern...being that a polisher goes in a circular motion. 🤦♀️
@@ryanbuckner4601 Does speaking the truth make me a troll? I'm here to tell you... they are wrong. Let me tell you what I do that NONE of those guys do... paint cars. I'm an ICAR certified refinish tech with 20 years experience. You have a youtube channel... so post some videos instead of referencing other youtube channels. I have videos on my channel of detailing cars and you DON'T. Yet i'm the "troll". That's funny dude. Maybe you should check out Forensic Detailing. He is one of the only guys on youtube that will tell you how completely retarded the "don't do circles" remark is.
@@fwh79FOXR6 so you are a better detailer than Larry at Ammo and he doesn't know what he's talking about? Got it. Let me know when you are selected to detail Barry Meguiar's cars buddy. Have a great day.
Looks like a mop bucket
overkill lol
