Thundermother are back with three new members and keeps on fighting for their music with the new single “We Fight For Rock N Roll”.
The guitarist and founder, Filippa Nässil, started Thundermother in 2009 and the band has launched two albums and played hundreds of shows since then. They’ve been on the road with artists such as Michael Monroe, W.A.S.P, D-A-D and Danko Jones and had a sold out headline tour in Europe last year.
The former line-up with Clare Cunningham, Tilda Stenqvist, Giorgia Carteri and Linda Ström was formed in 2013 and when the four members decided to leave Thundermother in the spring 2017 Filippa was determined to keep on playing with singer Guernica Mancini, bass player Sara Pettersson and drummer Emlee Johansson.
They had their first show together at Debaser Strand in Stockholm May 24th and were immediately acclaimed by their fans and praised by the amazed critics during one of the best Thundermother shows to this date. Their summer is booked up with at least 17 shows in Europe at festivals such as Wacken Open Air and European Bike Week.

Was happy I saw the old line up. This line up sucks serious balls. This song sounds so half arsed. They need a second guitar player I'm thinking Filippa's ego was too much for the others. Also can't beat Clare's voice.

Lzzy Hale bought out that signature custome with Gibson called Lady Evil. It's a pretty awesome guitar.
Just recently came upon this band - straight up old school eighty's metal (they give me hope that real bands are still out there). But I am curious about the bass player - to me it appears to be three. They are all good but I really dig the one in the "vbThundermother - Driving In Style (Live at Backline Sthlm)" video
Discovered them about a year ago. Other than the lead guitarist (Filippa Nässil), who kept the band alive, this lineup on this album are all new members. AND, I noticed the same thing tonight about the bass player in this video as opposed to their latest album. I think Majsan Lindberg is the newest Bass while Sara Pettersson is the woman in this video. I've fallen in love with this band and think everyone of the young ladies who've played in this band are all very talented!
