Deadpool /Wolverine will be the ultimate "testbed" for future comic book movies. If this comic book movie doesn't do well then nothing will, this movie has to blow it out of the park. My prediction for this movie, it will do well opening week but will cool off drastically and not live up to the hype. Ultimately this movie will be good but underperform financially . After people see D U N E pt 2 and what can be done in real filmmaking instead of greenscreen orgasms everywhere, people this year will see all other sci-fi films as bland and the same old same old..." popcorn munch ah thons" that really dont amount to anything, just putting whatever sticks well on a plastic lunchbox so it can be sold to us (the children) . love your channel by the way , the best .
If they’re giving up on Kang I hope they show the council of Kangs get wiped out by Doom. The council has been set up as a threat so you can give doom a head start on how evil/threatening he is if he takes them out and it pays off a character they won’t use anymore
If they introduce Dr Doom and make him God King Doom right away, what do you do with the character after that? It's just that we've waited for so long, I don't want them to blow their Doom load all at once. We don't need a repeat of Gorr the God Butcher
Gorr the God Butcher played by Christian Bale is the best element of the movie, it's the best thing that's happened at Marvel in a long time and what they did with this character is a crime
They wasted Gorr on a crap movie with a crap interpretation of a great run. If they can just not screw up Doom and Galactus, which they already have, it will be a win.
Have Doom give up his Beyonder powers willingly as part of some other scheme, or for his own hidden reasons. In other words, Doom returning to his mortal state wasn't forced upon him, and part of his constant threat is not knowing if he could reclaim the Bwyonder powers at will.
Doctor Doom really needs to be the main antagonist of the Secret Wars. If he's replaced by Kang, then no matter how much buildup Doom has to his power-hungry nature, it'll never have the payoff it deserves, and Doom will be wasted in the MCU just like he was in the FOX Universe.
0:26 I'd prefer to see Henry Cavill join the MCU as Captain Britain tbh, especially since I wanna see him as a recurring character instead as a one-off cameo.
Dude Paul!! Your Spoilerman super powers are giving me whiplash! New vid here, new vid there, 2 to 3 in one day?! The madness of being the best of the best of the best, sir. I can't get any work done.
I love how the "predictions" always start somehow plausible and end up with Molecule Man, a guy that is probably going to appear only once as a cameo if ever
I also agree with James Gunn’s assessment. It isn’t that people have superhero fatigue, it’s that they’re tired of bad stories being told and bad movies. Deadpool, Fantastic Four, X-Men? Secret Wars & AvX will fix that
Jeez a guy whose career is centered around superhero movies doesn’t think superhero movies are the problem 🙄… no conflict of interest there. Be clear. Both things can be true… Comic book movies/shows are WORN OUT… it’s been milked to death 🥛 … I know I’m tired
For the MCU I wondered if Doom would have sought out to follow or see what the FF was doing and he stumbles across the Incursions and Beyonders. He goes that way while the FF make it back to address Galactus and find out the rest later like us, the viewers. Guess we'll see.
0:38 The death of Nexus beings causing incursions seems odd to me tbh: 1) how does one person's death affect the entire universe? 2) how does someone get assigned to be their universe's specific Nexus being? 3) are there multiple Nexus beings throughout history, or do all/ most Nexus beings just exist in the 21st century? If so, does that mean their universe is safe from incursions until that Nexus being is born?, etc.
I would love a scene where Doom takes on the entire council of Kangs and just obliterates them. Then Captain Marvel or a multiversal character like America can tell the Avengers that “the council of Kangs has been completely destroyed by a new threat” And Ant man can sh!t bricks and explain just how scary that is
Fantastic 4 and doom are such good characters and could put the MCU back on track if done correctly and get the development they deserve this time. Having their back story, as well as setting up both galactus, silver surfer and doom could be too busy and make it a typical story that only sets up plot for other projects
I'm surprised Henry Cavil would take the roll as the wolverine, what with all his commitment to source material. Unless that was all bullshit. We need a short wolverine, stop discriminating on short men Hollywood.
honestly, I would love to see a council of Reeds teased in the MCU echoing the council of Kangs they could have Ioan Gruffudd, Miles Teller, and John Krasinski playing the three main Reed Richards variants, and they could summon the main Pedro Pascal Reed Richards in order to warn him about Doom
Miles Teller said he ONLY took the roll because he was dry on gigs and would NEVER return to that roll or any other superhero movie and he hates them all. IDK wtf happened but dude was SUPER cocky and rude about it.
12:09 Ngl, I know prejudice is a large part of the X-Men's storyline in the comics, but I've always found it weird that it's always targeted at mutants tbh - mutates, Inhumans, aliens, witches/ sorcerers, etc don't seem to hv to deal it w/ nearly as much.
I got the other issue, Mutants got a clear goal to protect everyone and themselves but i swear, i always feel like they are one evil scheme from being wiped out. Also in one run a living virus basically taught humanity to hate mutants since he couldnt possess them. And i mean, can you imagine any kid can turn into a Matthew Malloy and just bap reality out or be like Kid Omega and use his powers to wreck havoc. If the mutants were real, they would of ruled since all it would take is one guy with like Moderate powers.
I'm legit happy they're focusing around nexus beings. I thought it was going to be an abandoned plot line, since it never got any deeper context. Back when Wandavision teased it, and then Loki.
Personally I think we should have a secret wars movie then a bunch of standalone movies set on battle world that could be sequels or what ifs and then another avengers movie to end it
I know it'll never happen but how awesome would it be if one of the universes they touch on was the Wesley Snipes Blade universe. Nobody I watch has mentioned it.
I like Cavill but I don’t want him to be the new Wolverine. There’s a million better roles for him. I’d prefer, say, Radcliffe, be the new Wolverine. I’d love Cavill as Cyclops or even one of the Marvel “Supermen”: Sentry/Void, Gladiator, or Hyperion.
I can see it now. The final post credit scene of the movie, Pascal Reed is working on some multiversal tech in his lab and some blue light can be seen behind him. A blue time door has opened, and three figures walk up behind him. Krasinski Reed’s voice says “Reed number XXX, the council has deemed you worthy to join. Welcome to the Council of Reeds.” Or something like that. Then Pascal reed turns around and we get the money shot. John krasinski, Miles teller, and Ioan Gruffudd stand in front of the blue time door in their suits from their respective films
Personally I thought Tge Incredibles director Brad Bird should have directed Fantastic Four but all of this sounds awesome. Hopefully X-Men 97 also gets us a Cyclops that acts like the animated version in the MCU
Ngl I would love a wolverine who fits the character for once. Hugh Jackman did great for what he was but he was never comic book wolverine. As much as people want to pretend him being so small is part of his character. Wolverine should always feel a little rugged and as if he has small man syndrome. It's kind of like having a skinny blob or a short Superman. You know it wouldn't work.
But that kind of protagonist seems so unlikable, and wouldn’t make for a good movie. Jackman was likable, had a hero complex, and an amazing arc that Wolverine never had in the comics. Wolverine was never a “favorite” or leader, that was always cyclops. They seemed to have switched personas from the comics to the movie franchises.
Although Henry is the chad that could play Wolverine, isn't he way taller than Wolverine's 5'3-4" ish height? They'd have to explain some mutant enhancement for height. I could see Daniel Radcliffe pulling it off way more!!!
1:37 Daniel Radcliffe's height is 5' 5'', and ln the comics version has Wolverine at 5' 3''. So I'd say Mr. DR gets the role by default over Cavill. Or perhaps we'll see Mr. Cavill's claws come out after Mr. DR made his debut.
I love x men 97 but its success doesn’t necessarily mean that the mcu is back. Deadpool 3 will be good but again, doesn’t mean the mcu is back. The fantastic four, for me, is the movie. They need to be the family and face of the mcu. Otherwise the mcu wont make it to secret wars
Psyched. Very very psyched. I think we need that Council of Kangs in their own movie. Just recast. With a multiverse there are clearly badarse Kangs. Although the one in QM can come back different bcuz it warped his appearance.
with henery cavil doing future MCU things would depend on fitting it in with his major role in working on warhammer projects with amazon and games workshop
So I don’t think any X-Men from Deadpool & Wolverine are coming over to the MCU. I think they’re done. While X-Men ‘97 doesn’t have anything directly to do with the MCU considering that the Secret Wars comics featured a section of battle world that was X-Men ‘92 and that book was used to bring some Ultimate Marvel characters over to the main universe I think it’s fairly obvious that’s what the setup of X-Men ‘97 and The Marvels post credit scene are setting up. I’ve long suspected that FF and X-Men will each exist in separate universes than the MCU and they’ll all be merged together in Secret Wars.
I think at some point all 3 Spider-Man will be at the same location with other hero’s preparing to fight multiple enemies and the 3 Spider-Man will be the only characters fighting in sync and we will know why but the other characters won’t which will lead to the Spider-Man explaining parts of Spider-Man no way home.
*For Feige:* *This can't be 616, because the 616 universe is connected to real world and is also the place where all the Marvel characters are in it, not the MCU, the MCU is universe parallel to our own but ain't the 616, so yeah Across The Spiderverse is right*
I wonder how long we'll acc have to wait for a live action MCU X-Men film, & who they'll end up casting. I *really* hope we don't hv to wait 5+ years to finally get an MCU X-Men team.
I used to be confused as to why mutants were hated in marvel when we have characters like Spiderman and the ppl love him but when I got older I than learned it was about evolution and mankind not wanting to be left behind and replaced by mutants since they are the next step meaning ordinary ppl will one day be no more in marvel at least that's how I see it
Marvel really need to recognise that their days of pulling in multiple billion dollar movies a year are probably over. I’d actually be surprised if they ever make another one after (maybe) Deadpool 3. I don’t think I know anyone who gives a fuck about a Fantastic 4 movie who isn’t a 30+ yr old comics nerd (no shade on nerds). Comics nerds alone don’t get you Endgame or Spider-Man or even Black Panther numbers. The general public thinks the F4 is goofy and lame. X-Men is carrying a lot of bad baggage too. Bringing back Tony and Steve - especially recasting them - just smacks of desperation. I think the fact is that they shot their load after Endgame, thinking the whole world was now super invested in the MCU for ever, when really it was just that comics movies were having a moment, because they built the Avengers into a compelling story. But even my thirteen year old nephew is over the MCU now. I don’t get how studios never seem to learn about the concept of trends and how they change over time. They milked the Avengers cow to death. And since then they’ve been ransacking the barn and desperately presenting us with goats and sheep. I feel like Fantastic 4 is the aging bull we _really_ don’t want them to milk.
The Eternals will most likely show up again in Thor 5. This might be a reach, but Marvel Studios may do the God Squad. 5 outta 7 members are active, but Ajak is dead in the MCU. The members are Thor, Hercules, Sersi, Ajak, and Loki Prime. They have a big history with The Celestials and Galactus.
This is the first time I've heard a synopsis of a western comic series read, and I've gotta tell you, it sounded completely incoherent. Doom's plan was to travel to an infinite number of realities to kill an infinite number of the same guy to stop a plan by interdimensional beings? Did no one stop and say, 'you know, this is dumb'?
Following DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE (the midway point of the MULTIVERSE SAGA), the order will more likely be this (omitting BLADE and SPIDER-MAN 4, both happening before AVENGERS 5): 1. CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD (Sam begins to assemble the New Avengers, and the world at large is desperate for safety, security, and someone with all the answers) 2. THUNDERBOLTS (ends with the ruler of Latveria dispatching the Sentry, and revealed to the world as a superior Iron Man, more brilliant than Hank Pym, as steeped in the dark arts as Stephen Strange, and as noble as T'Challa) 3. FANTASTIC FOUR (ends with FF with Watcher on the Blue Area of the Moon, Earth-616 ca. 2027, with Reed building a Multiversal Lifeboat in prep for what is coming) 4. ARMOR WARS (showcases Doom making an army of reprogrammed Ultrons as his soldiers to fight a Multiversal war) 5. AVENGERS 5 (via the Space Time Platform we've seen already in multiple projects, Doom prevents the suicide of the Scarlet Witch. Both unleash Incursions as Sam's New Avengers fight variant X-Men... Multiverse dies, Wong dies) 6. SHANG-CHI & THE WRECKAGE OF TIME (a "Time Runs Out" film where the Ten Rings are required to be the key Reed Richards' Multiversal Lifeboat and escape from the dying Multiverse. It explains how 616-heroes reach Battleworld and remember the "Before-Doom") 7. THOR 5 (if they are going to fit it in, it will be a "Time Runs Out" film where Thor. Hercules and the surviving Eternals face True Ragnarok at the end of the Multiverse. Film is dazzling, filled with slain Celestials and a reunion between Loki the God of Stories and Thor. Tear-jerker ending. After-credits scene: Battleworld has been created. We see Chris Hemsworth as just one of an army of Thor-variants worshipping their God-Emperor, Doctor Doom) 8. DOCTOR STRANGE TRIUMPH & TORMENT (a "Time Runs Out" film beginning with the Holy Vishanti summoning Stephen Strange home to assume the mantle of the Sorcerer Supreme. He meets Doom and both embark on an odyssey from Hell to Heaven. Ends with Doom, Strange, and Wanda before dying Eternity. Doom does what Strange and Wanda refuse to do, taking Eternity's power. Doom creates the heavens and the earth of Battleworld, becoming God-Emperor) 9. STEVE ROGERS: NOMAD (this is the film that explains how 616-Steve Rogers returned the Infinity Stones, saved Natasha Romanov, and found 838-Tony Stark played by RDJ, and how all three get sidetracked to Battleworld) Then we have the Battleworld Trilogy (based on SECRET WARS by Shooter, SECRET WARS by Hickman, EMPEROR DOOM STARRING THE AVENGERS by Micheline, and AVENGERS THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE by Heinberg) 1. AVENGERS SECRET WARS, Raimi 2. AVENGERS THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE, Watts 3. AVENGERS FOREVER, Russo Bros
Doctor Doom is not the main villain of THE FANTASTIC FOUR, but he's also not just a blink-and-you'll miss cameo either. He's significant enough to the story because, as it starts around ca. 1960, he sends the FF to an alternate future to retrieve the Ultimate Nullifier from Galactus to destroy what he convinces them THEY are responsible for: 31st-century Reed Richards' descendant Nathaniel Richards and his dynasty of Kangs. In other words, sometime AFTER their initial adventures, the Four are kidnapped to Latveria by Doom. Doom can see alternate timelines via his Space Time Platform and showcase for people the fruit of those timelines/universes (think Doctor Strange in INFINITY WAR seeing 14 million some possible futures). Doom saw one where he ruled absolutely, and it was paradise. Doom manipulates the family against Reed and Reed's guilt for Ben Grimm's disfigurement. The FF arrive in the alternate future where the Prime-Celestial Arishem judged humankind as unworthy. This is why Galactus travels to this variant Earth to devour it. On his Worldship is the Ultimate Nullifier. But as the movie plays out, the Watcher collects the Four, brings them to his secret base on the Blue Area of the Moon, and warns them off. He tells them that Doom is the true threat, the most dangerous being in the Multiverse and Destroyer of All Worlds. They cannot bring Doom the Ultimate Nullifier. The FF have their adventure with Galactus, get the Nullifier, but refuse to use it. At the end of TF4 our heroes are housed in the Watcher's Moon compound, Earth 616. Reed is working on a Multiversal Lifeboat in the hope of escaping the wave of Incursions coming that will destroy the Multiverse itself. The time is sometime in the late 2020s.

I just need them to finally not screw up Dr. Doom.

And somehow, Mephisto has returned.

Part of Logan's identity is that he was a small but furious fighter, just like a real wolverine.
I just want to see an R rated Omega Red.
I NEED a good Doom Cinematic appearance. The last F4 really hurt me deeply. 😢
Tom Hardy would have been a perfect Wolverine
nah. He's Venom.
So overrated. I don’t want the “autistic mute” typecast
0:26 I'd prefer to see Henry Cavill join the MCU as Captain Britain tbh, especially since I wanna see him as a recurring character instead as a one-off cameo.
Definitely would be a better casting.
Or sentry but maybe that’s too on the nose

Big respect for your continued enthusiasm man, after all they've put us through
Caville needs to play Cyclops
We literally have Spider-Man to be the main guy of MCU
Giancarlo Esposito as Dr. Doom would be great to see on screen IMO

6ft tall Wolverine has been done. I'd like to see short man syndrome Wolverine.
Danny Devito
I'm surprised Henry Cavil would take the roll as the wolverine, what with all his commitment to source material. Unless that was all bullshit. We need a short wolverine, stop discriminating on short men Hollywood.
The character was never supposed to be 6 Ft tall in the first place
I agree! I want wolverine to be small ball of furious rage!

Bring some authenticity to The Character!

Daniel Radcliffe as wolverine and henry as cyclops 😮😮😮
Ah shit! Here we go again!
They can’t give up on Kang. With how Loki season 2 ended, that would be a major fumble
It’s too soon. Doom is going to be wasted. 😩😩😩
We NEEDED ALL OF HIS BACK STORY. How he got his magic and tech powers.
Strange becoming the MCUs molecule man is a dope idea
Favorite saying that you doo is “theory time theory time”
Pass on Pascal
You should do The Martian, a top-notch movie, in my opinion.
If you match up the shoulder width between Patch Wolverine and Daniel Radcliffe, it seems similar to me.

10:27 killing off doctor strange is a pretty good theory, plus audiences love that

I hate the idea of them changing anything about the silver surfer, he needs to be done right same as Dr. doom
Doctor Doom! 👀
Thank you Paul.
Daniel is pretty badass . He has a really good old movie were he oh haha . He has horns i forgot the name of the movie ...its horns 😂 . 👌

Wow, I hate the "Nexus being" concept a lot.

6:52 It's not the 616 simply because 616 is the comic book universe going since 1939. That is it. It's got nothing to do with Spider-Verse.
I want all of this and a Tom Cruise Iron Man
Oh no, Secret Wars spoilers! Paul, you're breaking my heart! You're going down a path I can't follow!
It's actually Harry-man and the Goblet of Spiders.
Great video man well done thanks. You're a cool dude.
YES, PAUL!!! BRING THE NEWS, BRING THE FUNK (Ask MT if you don't get the reference :) )!!!
They’ve confirmed that silver surfer will be portrayed by a male actor as depicted in the comics.
I've never understood how the fantastic 4 always beat galactus 🤔
I love x men 97 but its success doesn’t necessarily mean that the mcu is back. Deadpool 3 will be good but again, doesn’t mean the mcu is back. The fantastic four, for me, is the movie. They need to be the family and face of the mcu. Otherwise the mcu wont make it to secret wars
I'm looking forward to some of the classic Iron Man stories, but instead involving Morgan Stark.
*For Feige:*
*This can't be 616, because the 616 universe is connected to real world and is also the place where all the Marvel characters are in it, not the MCU, the MCU is universe parallel to our own but ain't the 616, so yeah Across The Spiderverse is right*
Feels like a waste making Cavill a Wolverine variant but I’m going to try and be optimistic
Look at my Thrombolytic face....Dr. Doom
Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine...I can actually see that being a vibe 🤔
The Eternals will most likely show up again in Thor 5. This might be a reach, but Marvel Studios may do the God Squad. 5 outta 7 members are active, but Ajak is dead in the MCU. The members are Thor, Hercules, Sersi, Ajak, and Loki Prime. They have a big history with The Celestials and Galactus.
Keanu Reeves as Doctor Doom
Paul aka Spoilerman aka….The Beyonder!? CONFIRMED, IT’S ALL CONNECTED!
Apparently Spiderman is supposed to be the nexus being in 636. Thats what i read in the leaks
Calling the MCU the 616 is the biggest mistake they’ve made…😔
All the multiverse stuff in turning into madness.
Following DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE (the midway point of the MULTIVERSE SAGA), the order will more likely be this (omitting BLADE and SPIDER-MAN 4, both happening before AVENGERS 5):
1. CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD (Sam begins to assemble the New Avengers, and the world at large is desperate for safety, security, and someone with all the answers)
2. THUNDERBOLTS (ends with the ruler of Latveria dispatching the Sentry, and revealed to the world as a superior Iron Man, more brilliant than Hank Pym, as steeped in the dark arts as Stephen Strange, and as noble as T'Challa)
3. FANTASTIC FOUR (ends with FF with Watcher on the Blue Area of the Moon, Earth-616 ca. 2027, with Reed building a Multiversal Lifeboat in prep for what is coming)
4. ARMOR WARS (showcases Doom making an army of reprogrammed Ultrons as his soldiers to fight a Multiversal war)
5. AVENGERS 5 (via the Space Time Platform we've seen already in multiple projects, Doom prevents the suicide of the Scarlet Witch. Both unleash Incursions as Sam's New Avengers fight variant X-Men... Multiverse dies, Wong dies)
6. SHANG-CHI & THE WRECKAGE OF TIME (a "Time Runs Out" film where the Ten Rings are required to be the key Reed Richards' Multiversal Lifeboat and escape from the dying Multiverse. It explains how 616-heroes reach Battleworld and remember the "Before-Doom")
7. We see Chris Hemsworth as just one of an army of Thor-variants worshipping their God-Emperor, Doctor Doom)
8. Doom creates the heavens and the earth of Battleworld, becoming God-Emperor)
9. STEVE ROGERS: NOMAD (this is the film that explains how 616-Steve Rogers returned the Infinity Stones, saved Natasha Romanov, and found 838-Tony Stark played by RDJ, and how all three get sidetracked to Battleworld)
Then we have the Battleworld Trilogy (based on SECRET WARS by Shooter, SECRET WARS by Hickman, EMPEROR DOOM STARRING THE AVENGERS by Micheline, and AVENGERS THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE by Heinberg)
1. AVENGERS SECRET WARS, Raimi
2. AVENGERS THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE, Watts
You should use another catch phrase like "ITS NOT CONNECTED" when things are obviously not connected.😂😭
