- Graphene is one of the most revolutionary materials in the past decade. Graphene has become a valuable nanomaterial due to its exceptionally high tensile strength, electrical conductivity, transparency, and being the thinnest two-dimensional material in the world. The global graphene market was $9 million in 2012. It was first introduced in biomedical applications in 2008. In this video, I will talk about the first paper, which introduced graphene-based materials to the biological world for the first time.
