Look at your map blocked paths & objects will appear in red, meaning you don't have the ability yet. In particular look at traversal paths if there's a red X inside a box, don't bother trying to double jump to get to a wall run for example. Like what was said in the video don't waste your time & just work through the critical story path. Also if you use Navigation Assist it only tracks the path for the next story objective. Tracking rumours or bounties will only place a green circle on the map.
I'm so excited to start with this game tomorrow! I will always go with double bladed, Maul style, as that's always been my favourite, and I was thinking to go with the pistol for the second style as having the range option and, well, looks the most unique also with the fencing lightsaber style.
Is NG+ available at launch? If so, I may just focus on the main story and save the majority of exploration for my second playthrough when all the tools are unlocked.
IMO honestly I give it a 4/10 mainly due to story being weak sauce, and I played it on Xbox Series X supposed to be the best platform to play it on and my game crashed 4 times, FPS drops to where its unplayable about 6-10 times only parts where their was a lot of trash mobs and lots going on and other bugs and things that annoyed me like clipping on outfits over the lightsabor I hated having to change my look its like do you want to see your cool lightsabor you went to look for all the parts to make it look good only to shit on it by clipping issues from the outfit. Walls have no texture and scenes where capes are going crazy, one cut sense my duel lightsabor was stuck going straight up and down through his body during a "big cinematic" I will say one thing this game has taught me and with current times I will no longer be pre ordering games UNLESS they have a good track record like Nintendo this Friday I have full faith that Nintendo will deliver. PEOPLE VOTE WITH YOUR MONEY its the only way these company's will learn or at least wait until it goes on sale or try to rent it from gamefly because in a year or 2 or whatever the next Star Wars from EA will come out and if they NO pre-orders or at least half what they expect WE THE PEOPLE WIN. Why keep giving money to a company that has a bad track record.
@@phobicbigot Not even close. People with RTX 4080 and current gen i9s had bad performance on 1440P. This game will be the first one where I go for the PS5. My default platform is PC but with how bad PC ports are lately I'll use my PS5 instead. I'm surprised RE4 remake has good performance but Capcom has good optimization lately.

Are the telekinesis tree powers useful for picking of enemies in mob situations if you don't go for the blaster stance? In Fallen Order I often used the pull/one shot move on weaker enemies before rushing in to thin out the ranks
You can, but it costs a bit of Force power. But there are many options. For example, some enemies (like B1 battle droids), you can force pull/lightsaber them. Or you can force pull/force push them into another enemy for a double-kill (but also double the force bar usage). B1s in particular, you can do a big force push and kill them outright, kind of like in Episode 1.
Ehh. I don’t see anything wrong with it. But like Ben says, “[The lightsaber] is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as a blaster. An eloquent weapon, for a more civilized age.”

Yeah. I mean cool, but do something like in the KOTOR games where the sabers had different abilities, stats, etc. makes me wonder why they hold back on creativity. They can do so much more with the combat if the gear/sabers were more than cosmetics. We in the wrong field 😅
Because that doesn’t really fit Star Wars. One lightsaber isn’t better than the others. Obi wans wasn’t better thanks Darth vaders and vice versa. It wouldn’t make any sense/
@@vintageoriginallegit Nah, that's not true at all. Before the disney retconning a lot of lightsaber components (including the kyber crystal) had different effects on the blade. For instance, Jedi favor lightsabers with a powerful generator that can cut cleanly and cauterize wounds while sith might use unstable generators that produce a lot of heat and might scorch and cause a lot more pain while still allowing someone to bleed out. After the retconning though, nobody knows exactly where disney is going but Kylo Ren's unstable cross hilt lightsaber is the first appearance of a different lightsaber configuration in movies so who knows.
Honestly all the platforming is what turned me off the 1st game.i dont need to walk between walls under beams and over crates over and over for no reason

According to what I’ve read, yes NG+ is available at launch.
I think that you will only keep cosmetics and 5 stances without tools

You must've a different PS5 to everyone else, according to reports the game has performance issues, broken HDR on PS5.

Maybe for the higher difficulty where you can't see your enemy's posture bar as well.

I think it's a bit odd that our gear and Saber are only cosmetic in nature. Especially since this is a sequel.
