Reminds me of how the song made for that ODST trailer ended up being released years later as part of the soundtrack to a King Arthur movie of all things.
The lyrics perfectly capture halo. "Poisoned pride" represents the covenant "Reckless rage" the banished "The fear we do not name" the flood I could go into so much detail but my point is its perfect for halo.

Oh my! This song is so hype inducing, even without the actual visuals! I love the Halo Wars theme instrumental being remixed in this song. Stephen Rippy really did a great job with the original version with its melancholy. This version is great as well with the strong guitar setting the stage for a strong return. The baritone singing set the dark tone of war and survival, and the lyrics really brings into mind a hardened veteran who's ready for his next fight. The White Buffalo did well with this remix. I love Halo Wars 1 and 2! hope we see more Halo Wars in the near future!
I really loved both halo wars games and i need more of them, but sadly i think they said they dont have any plans for another halo wars game. So we probably wont see another game for a good while if ever sadly

Honestly Halo wars 2 was the last Halo title that gave me goosebumps upon its unveiling and I actually generally enjoyed the story and the characters even if I wish some of the characters had gotten more spotlight time. Something is really wrong with Halo nowadays. Things are just much like service and everyday life half baked and half finished and no promise of tomorrow. The gaming industry is sick.
So happy to see HW2 get some love, the best 343 era Halo game to me It could have got a discount on the store for the occasion, what a missed opportunity, let's hope it releases on Steam soon anyways
