- I finished another sketchbook :) This one goes on a bit of a journey. When I started I was in a bit of an art block and did some doodles, exercises and a domestika course to get out of it! Towards the end of the sketchbook we get super into Doggust and it's page after page of lovely dogs in graphite which is a bit different for me :)

Thanks for watching!
SUCH a fun sketchbook!!!!
Thanks Sophie 🥰
So fun to watch! Loved the variety of materials and approaches in this sketchbook, and your animal illustrations have so much personality to them, from the cat on the cover to the owl and all the different dog breeds 🥰 🐶 🐈 Thanks for sharing it with us ;) You have a way of using bright colors that light up the page as well, your color combos go so well together 🤓👍✨
Thanks for your thoughtful comment 🥰 I’m glad you enjoyed the tour!
My pleasure! And I really did (enjoy it 😀)
I love all the dog sketches. Dogfest❤
🥰🥰 dogs are very fun to draw!
Love this! The painting with the geese by the river is my absolute favorite 😍
That’s one of my favs too :) I loved seeing them everyday. I was sad when two left.
@@monkeymintaka I just imagine they found a good life somewhere else ☀️
Amazing!!! And you can even draw while walking!!!! I'm waiting for the day you'll publish a children illustrated book, it will be incredible, I'm sure.
Thanks so much! We were walking very slowly but it was pretty impressive 👀😂
Such a lovely sketchbook! Thank you for sharing! 🧡
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Stunning. I love every single Peace.
I’m glad you enjoyed the tour!
Definitely enjoyed this, thanks for sharing! ❤🎉
Yay! Glad you liked it :)
Oooooh, so many gorgeous spreads and adorable doodles! Loved this🤩I gotta say that it makes me feel good to see the variety of styles, subject matter, and materials. Personally, I’ll sometimes feel like “I’m doing art wrong” (there’s no such thing, I know)😅 because I don’t just stick to a super niche style. But how can someone do that when experimenting is so fun?
No way to do art wrong! I love experimenting and trying new things. It would be so boring if I just stuck to drawing like… blue cats all day 🙈
So inspiring. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Hannah 🥰
Thanks for sharing. I needed this today.😊
I’m glad :)
Thanks for the monkey fix while your on vaca. :)
Hehe you’re welcome! I think I’ve scheduled a video for next Monday too 👀
I've retold that insomnia joke quite a few times now after hearing it from you first!
😂 it’s a good one!
Love your art! The colors, expressions…you create such a beautiful and inviting universe in your sketchbooks.
Ahh thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the tour :)
Fun video, lovely work😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you 🤗
Great sketchbook tour! I loved the ones you made while walking -- so unique! And I love all the mix of methods and subjects. It's very interesting to see and hear about.
I’m glad you liked it!
Love this sketchbook! What a good idea to doodle to get your drawing mojo back!
Thankyou! Yes it doesn’t happen much, but when I can’t draw, doodles are better than nothing!
Would you tell some of your favorite Domestika and Patreon artist's?!?!
Yes I will try to remember 🤔 domestika - Adolfo Serra is my number 1. I also loved Sarah van dongen and Maru Godas. On Patreon it really depends what you are after. I love Sarah dyer and Emma Carlise for their art sessions. I also heard monkeymintaka has a good Patreon 👀😂
Awesome ❤Go on, pronounce cuintle😂😂😂
Oh my gosh, if i tried drawing while walking - particularly while outside “in nature,” i would either be dead or missing at least one limb 😂. It seriously is amazing that you were able to do that. And your walking-drawings turned out really well!
😂 I don’t know if I truly conveyed how slow we were walking. But it was like snail pace so not too bad. I couldn’t do it normally though. I would die for sure!
