- Clear out time once again, this time I'm making Cheese Boards / Cake Stands and Shot Glass Holders / Servers.
Part 2:
IS all about making the Shot Glass holders to sell at our up coming craft fairs, they were popular last year so I thought I'd make some more.
Part 1:
A local shop owner approached me and asked if I could make some Cake / Chese stands for the weddings Cheese cakes they supply, so I made some up for the order, single species, Oak, Maple, Purple Heart and Iroko.
This multicoloured batch is from left overs.

its remarkable how good of a finish you cut cutting that hardwood on the end grain. Can you share your feeds and speeds as well as which bit you were using? I have not had that much success on end grand cuts on hardwood.
