You have gained a bigger-looking room simply by painting the room white. It looks amazing. Yes, Please paint your own art. My mother is an artist, and I grew up with art all around me. If I dare put up a "Print" of anything in my home, she will take it down and paint over it with her own original masterpiece. I love it because I have all originals in my house, and I will have pieces, not in the museums or art galleries where her other works are displayed. Your black and white photos are stunning. Love your style. Hello to your son, who called me an alligator. Love it!

You nailed it. The look is beautiful and the black sideboard is perfect. Now your dining table & chairs looks more high end and fireplace balances and looks intentional. I'd try to rework the mirror to replace elec tape with thin wood strips if you can because it needs that final touch to look truly high end. You worked so hard and it looks amazing

I love the fact you are redesigning your design! And for no other reason than your aesthetic has changed. I have felt so discouraged because I’ve redesigned my design for the same reason lol I went from a indigo blue and a deep cocoa to Sherwyn Williams city, Egyptian or it’s is one of their whites through my whole house. I have more of a Tuscany kind of aesthetic, but I love your design and I’m not even I’m only five minutes and nine seconds in. 5:09

Hey Niky I remember when you originally did over your dining room and it was nice but this definitely looks like an entire new room. Great job and loving all the budget friendly DIYs. Those pictures lights I've been eyeing them for a while so definitely thanks for sharing. Gallery wall is lovely and the fireplace and sideboard make over well done

Niky I'm glad you mentioned it wasn't easy painting because I use a painting stick I get from Lowe's. It pulls the paint into the stick, therefore you don't have to use a ladder and you can paint 3 times faster. Lol queen of overthinking welcome to the club. I love the DIY mirror wall.

Polar Bear is my go-to white too! It looks great in every room of my house (I've even used it on my ceiling, or baseboards in rooms that have a different color) I'm surprised I don't hear about this color more because its so versatile!
