Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Picked up the 175th edition from Chrono 24 last week. Two were for sale at the same time from different dealers in the US with a premium of about 1200 pounds over retail, which I thought was very fair given the ridiculous prices the pink chrono has been going for in the market. Will pick it up in a couple of weeks and already thinking of changing the bracelet to the two tone steel and gold from the black bay 41 as I think it would match the gold accents nicely....Congratulations on your purchase.
@nabelahmed7135 those are most likely fake or not the real thing. It is only available for purchase in Harrods UK. Unless it was people based there that purchased it. Also, those in the second-hand market go for 4x
@onliskcarew Did my due diligence and had the authenticity validated by my own contact at Harrods, which was done by the pictures provided (all tags included), number reference on the back of the watch against the original Harrods reciept provided in the purchase. In fact both watches were authentic and I luckily managed to grab one. Like yourself I was surprised by the lack of premium but given how hush hush this release was maybe the word on these has not reached a wider audience yet, especially outside of the UK.
Did you have to have much of a spend history to get the new piece? Did they call you up front or did you enquire for it? Are they offering it to anyone that wants it or only to selected customers? Thanks
Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
Harrods edition just doesn’t work for me in terms of color matching. And even though I love Tudor, their box feels cheap af, when u just look at the box it feels like it contains a 1000 pound watch. For their price range, they should have attention to details and have a nicer box to feel a little more premium for packaging. Having a nicer box won’t cost them tons of profit for each units for sure

As a broke boy and actual enthusiast who wants watch’s prices to crater, MAMACOO is a good choice.
I prefer the old ones - there are many green dials with black bezels but the older one seemed more unique
