Good Morning Majesty KING CHARLES III ❤️ London ❤️ huge support, Long live long live lot of kisses, sublime Parades. All the congratulations 👏👏👏👍👏👏👏, god Bless 👑🙏🇬🇧❤️
Very very beautiful, fantastic video and musical band! Well done under direction of Captain Gareth Chambers, as usual. Thank you for sharing, an italian fan.
Windsor is the best posting a guardsman can get. I was with the Irish guards in the late 70s early 80s at the old Victoria barracks and long before the train station renovations. we were band from just about every pub in town, ah the good old days, it was a few pints with your mates and a Chinese on the way home, great times.
Fabulous video, I love to see them thank you. A shame we couldn't have the front of the band to hear the troms in 'Steadfast and True' it's a fantastic part for them to shine :-)
Good afternoon! It's always a great pleasure to see guards' video, with musical band!! I read below that Captain Gareth Chambers is (perhaps) retiring? I hope it is not true, what a pity, my hero retiring!! He is absolutely excellent and a true gentleman. Please, let us know, I can't see your TV or papers. Your italian fan❤
Fantastic video as usual! Hmm, again repeating the marches. Interesting. Nevertheless a Excellent video! The marches played were, 1) 0:31-Machine Gun Guards 2) 3:44-Old Comrades (Alte Kameraden) 3) 6:31-Steadfast and True (In Treue Fest) (Return to Barracks) 4) 6:40-Machine Gun Guards 5) 7:11-Old Comrades (Alte Kameraden) 6) 10:14-Steadfast and True (In Treue Fest)
Very unusual to see The Band of the Grenadier Guards repeating the same marches heading back to Barracks. Band of the Household Cavalry did this in the past. I hope this is not going to be a new trend.
It is isn’t it? Still some good marches in there. I heard Fridays is the rare guard pack with ‘Kaiser Friedrich’, and ‘on the quarterdeck’. I could be wrong! I’m very much so looking forward to it.
@@CGS1987 Many thanks for replying back. I just thought it was interesting to see the band repeat the same selection on the way back for the past 2 guard mounts at Windsor. It’s only us military band march enthusiasts that would notice these things 😂. It’s always great to hear a great selection of different marches played, it always shows the incredibly of professionalism within the bands. Many regards!
@@CGS1987 Hello Chris, Thank you for commenting on my video! I am a big fan of your composition work. It was an excellent guard mount, and it’s always great to see the first and finest, let alone a guards band in Windsor marching through the streets. I can never get bored of it! It’s amazing.
Thanks for a great video as usual.Does anybody know if Gareth Chambers is retiring or is he moving upwards? I heard on the TV during Saturdays Trooping that it was his last.
Hello there, the Guard Mount took place inside the Windsor Castle Quadrangle. The Quadrangle has gravel pathways, so marching causes the gravel to kick up dust. That's why everyone has dusty boots. Hope this helps!
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Thank you. I noticed the boots were clean on leaving the barracks. I'm surprised someone doesn't have the forethought to give the gravel a light spray with water to hold down the dust during the daily event. I'm sure SDM Chambers would be upset to know his usual excellent performance was let down by dirty boots on the return to barracks. He is an absolute pleasure to watch.

Agreed - I'll have a word and see that we avoid repeats on Friday 👍🏻
Thank you🙏@@CGS1987

Good video. Has the road been resurfaced outside the castle so the grey dust gets all over the clean boots or is it my imagination?
