A 3 segmented musical show, Swara Raaga Sangeetham concentrates on the nuances of a particular raag (musical Scale) based on Carnatic genre. Great effort..
"Kandukonden" cannot be Nalinakanthi because the opening phrase is Sgrm pnds. And almost every line has Dhaivatam.. The song heavily relies on the relative minor chord which is a Dhaivatam chord.. You can say this song is a mixture of Maand and (some phrases in Saranam) Kathana kuthukalam.
A better example of Nalinakanthi in cine music is the song "Enthan nenjil neengatha" from "Kalaignan" by Maestro Illaiyaraaja .
