C'mon JOSH!! You KNOW you want to Design and Market Extended Shackles and Special Leaf Spring Mounts, and maybe even VP *Leaf Springs* machined from 2lb Blocks of Aluminum!!! 😜😂😂😂 LMAO 😜 😂😂 😂 ...... Sorry! After watching this, and the Butthurt Comments I just read, I couldn't resist. Carmine 💥 ⛽
You should get on "Rc4wd Trail Finder2 page". Best page for TF2's. We'll show you how to get your Trailfinder 2 to flex without a 4-link and with less money than you think. And probably with what you have lying around your toolbox. I get almost 4 inches of flex out of my Leaf-spring rig. Tommad on Facebook.
At 56:45 you mentioned "If anyone is wearing good Headphones....." Yeah Josh! I've got JBL Reference Headphones.... (I was in a Band, was a Club DJ, and always an Audiophile). Some of those BANGS are fuckin' LOUD and Sharp!!! 😵🔊🔊🔊📢📢🎧 !!!!!!! I'm not the easily Butthurt type who would say "You hurt my feelings. I'm un-subbing you, you Cad! Scoundrel! Meanie!" I've been with you long enough to know that you're no quiet, patient Choirboy!! 😜😊😅😅 MOST of the people who have stuck with you know that. We're also thicker skinned, older, and more mature. I'm looking at that Transmission.... which does look good. But then the Motor *Mounts to the SIDE,* making ANY attempt at a Scale Engine blank and a good looking underhood area - futile and IMPOSSIBLE!! 😫😥😭😣👎👎 Looks like if I CAN get one, a call to Chris or Dana @ GCM would definitely have to happen! I would NEVER spend THAT much money for a "Scale" Rig, and have to be STUCK with my pseudo Engine, SITTING OVER ONE OF THE FRONT WHEELS!!! I now see why Chris Designed his Transmission in the first place.
THAT was entertaining!!! 👏👏👏👏🍻👍👍 I have no idea how I missed this. Had you Guys already hit the "Social Lubricant" before you started?? 🍻🍺🍺🍺🍺 Wow.... you and Johnny Knoxville were Hilarious together!!!! Being a die-hard Ford Guy, I even found the LS Jokes in the middle funny! 😊😂 I'm sure some others didn't, but so F'N What? It's all about Fun and Friendship, Right? I've never even seen a RC4WD Rig before.... Don't Hate, but I've always wanted ONE really Scale Truck. (Can't call it a Crawler, with a straight face!) If I can ever afford it, I'd love to build one. You know, Matt has a couple of cool Tricks, to give the "shitty Leaf Springs" a little more flexibility, without destroying the stability. You should talk to him while you're both up there... Thank You Josh! That was an Entertaining 2 Hours. Carmine 💥 ⛽
I've GOT to add...... Would it have KILLED RC4WD to have less variety and more even sizing of all those Screws going into the Frame Rails???? 😵😫😱😱 And that Center Transfer Case Crossmember.... Is that so one can take it into the Corn Field, and HARVEST Corn!!???!! 👊😅😅😅😱😂😂 (Sorry, I've been hitting the Social Lubricant myself...) 🍻🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
if you guys could hold back on the trashy talk this would have been a awesome video. i was trying to let my grand son watch & learn but couldn't because of the trashy language. but keep up the build videos-potty mouth, i bet everybody will understand what your saying without it stay safe God bless.
Wow, the TF2 I built few years back came with a lot better packaging. Everything tucked in foam inserts, not shoved into plastic bags.
Yes same
I keep all the boxes my Futaba receivers come in, they make great little parts holders when building a kit. No mat needed
I've herd the extension shackles RC4WD makes as a upgrade really help the suspension flex .
And their bank balance 😂
just got my tf2 for christmas and need to know if it comes with grease/oil in the difs and tranny and transfer case or not? and if not what di i use?
GCM makes the forward mount transmission . I thought he might be headed that way when he mentioned (Tiny Trucks ) . Kind of GCM's call phrase .
Hey guys just wanted to ask what do you think I should get this kit or the ready to run Kit
I think the RTR standard WB is a little better choice than this Long Wheel Base version is.
In what sense does it crawl better
@@RcgravityI wouldn't think so lwb will always crawl better in my experience. I know I'm answering an old question but yeah.
Does VP make parts for the RC4WD TF2 kits or have plans to in the future?
+Z0MB13 no current parts are offered. Not sure about the future.
Thanks for the feedback :-D
