Can a group of criminals steal your heart? Hololive has finally released a brand new gen for holoEN: holoAdvent! But the question remains... What do their stories say for the overall lore?
Okay, little known fact: They didn't "apply" in Hololive per se. The lore there is that while escaping in their car, the car crashed into the Hololive office (I think Shiori just wanted to crash into it for fun). So now they're indebted to Hololive and basically have to work for them to pay damages
Huh... intresting. If I had a nickle for anytime Hololive got a new talent due to said talent having to work of dept for damaging Hololive's offices, I would have two nickles. Which isn't much, but it's funny it happened twice.
@@PiggiiesStilar Coco Kiryu. She was a dragon after all, and could change from her demi-human form into a true dragon form. According to her lore, the reason she was in Hololive was because she crashed into the Hololive office building while flying, and even ended up putting Yagoo in the hospital as he was in said office. As such, she had to work for Hololive to pay off the damages and medical bill.
Stupid mini theory I came up with: during Rissa's opening by Shiori, it says she's the child of a demon. Which is odd because everywhere else she's just referred to as "a demon". So my brain went "what if she was IrYS's half-sister?" Not irl obviously, but you know.
They do have a lot in common, and it would kinda make sense if IRyS's demon parent had musical powers. By the way, I find it interesting that Nerissa was the only one who was not only imprisoned but actually depowered by the gods. On a related note, Shiori claims that she knows where Nerissa's other horn is, but was reluctant to reveal the location. (Despite Nerissa getting excited about "doing a Tenacious D" with it.) Makes me wonder if Nerissa was originally way more powerful than the other four, and Shiori isn't sure if it's a good idea to let her regain that power.
@@Magnustopheles Well, more like a personified mini-warp, I'd say. Like, I don't think she's supposed to literally be the total sum of all human emotions, she's just made out of the stuff. Kinda like how the human body contains a lot of water, but not _all_ the water in the universe.
If the prison they got locked up in was an extra-dimensional location, perhaps they are from a different world but escaped _into_ our world? That would explain why they're apparently not on the run or trying to hide: _Our_ gods may not even know who they are or what they did, let alone care as long as the girls behave.
I like this theory. I can also point out that they also joined the same studio as the Council is working on. So if they are from our world, those gods might feel like some of their most powerful creations ever might be able to keep them in check, and thus are in no hurry to lock them up again. That or since Advent apparently owe Cover dept for smashing into their offices with a car and now have to work for them, the gods might see it as another mean to punish them (finally forcing them to take some responsibility and learning to behave) or Yagoo has some kind of pull with the god (considering some of Hololive's talents that wouldn't even surprise me anymore).
Everytime I watch one of your lore videos it makes me wanna write an extensive story and lore focused fanfic, abd I'm sure Shiori would be happy about it,
i love that FuwaMoco's lore is basically just Clifford the Big Red Dog, they're just too Good Boy to realize they aren't tiny puppers, while they're also too physically strong to not cause some bother with their cute upper antics... i love them well, they did establish that Omega is a multiverse observer whose purpose is to connect us with said universes by hijacking an existing entity. & they exist on both HoloLive AND HoloStars' multiverses (sadly they no longer seem to exist in our universe, OmegaDoko?)
hehe first member privileges This video was really neat!! I'll admit that seeing her talk to the jailbird and that transferring to us immediately reminded me of your tempus video so i've been looking forward to this video coming out so you could address it lol tales about the gods, alternate realities, it's neat to see everything kinda coming together, even if this is probably more thought than the talents themselves are really putting into things www
Holo Advent gives me vibes of multiverse ragnarok where a modern civilization and divine government imprison the most dangerous beigns in the deeps off Makai's prison; A new era of rebelion against previous gods and myths is starting now.
1. Are they criminals, I was thinking that jail is more like the SCP foundation, for things humanity can't handle. 2. About the dogos, I think they close problems to humans that God had to do something about them, because they are dvine beings they are the god faults. 3. I my head Canon fanfic, the prison belong to Hakos Baelz, she the Council leaders and the right hand of the gods, and it is SCP for anomalies. (there was that Holo myth VS Holo Council about Bae thinking Myth should be contained
Honestly, I have a hard time imagining Bae being concerned with maintaining any kind of order, much less running a prison for supernatural beings. Her role as leader of the Council seems to be mainly about preventing conflict between the other four. I think she's even stated at some point that she doesn't really have any actual authority. (Which would make sense since chaos is undefinable by definition, and isn't aligned with anything else.) Actually, if any member of the Council was involved, it was probably Mumei. She's the only one of them who could be said to have jurisdiction over humanity, especially with the implication that humanity is separate from nature. Note that nearly all of Advent were imprisoned specifically for causing problem for humans, and even Shiori's forbidden knowledge could be viewed as a mostly human concern.
Can’t beleive the timing here, I checked literally yesterday to see if you had made a vid on advent and now it’s here, if only I wasn’t early lol Little edit: thought of this little headcanon but since most of the members deal with either corruption of, or in shiori’s cass the interference of, humanity and the gods I like to beleive it was Mumei who imprisoned them all, and she did it on behalf of the gods and humans in the name of humanity, I know it doesn’t explain how history forgot them but I just kinda prefer that to it all just being alternate dimensions. Tho I guess you could still say it was alternate dimension mumei’s but again not as fun imo
The last part sounds like the desire grand prix premise from Kamen Rider Geats. Only difference is that the participants are aware they are being watched.
I think I may have something that might change up the theory a bit. Calli did state that this prison was either in the underworld or underworld adjacent and she did know about it. That would break into Calli and Kiara's lore.
maybe mumei locked up fuwamoco and biboo, fauna locked up nerissa, hakos, kronii and sana locked up shiori due to multiversal knowledge it probably needed the power of those 3.

@@PiggiiesStilar I don't know if that is a reference or something, so I can't say.

So.... Bijou is technically a Chaos God from Warhammer 40K then?
Her gem basically contains the entire Warp, if you go by that definition

That last bit about us being observers is pretty much what the HoloweEN stories revealed, so it's not such a farfetched theory/conclusion tbh
The lore is back
HOLO LORE IS BACKKKKKKKK
Being a "pain in the godly behind" is another way to say a "pain in the arse" but the pain is godly level
Ina and Biboo being eldritch gods
Me "let them fight"
Fuwamoco could have been imprisoned by mumei, that would make it a god and mankind
I choose to believe that Mumei locked up FuwaMoco, but forgor.
Can a group of Stevesekai seal your walmart?
Very easily
Sooooo... Advent is just SCP escaping...
Wow that take to the lore is mindblowing!!
Video was amazing. It made me laugh multiple times and made my night. Can't wait to see more videos
BIBOO TAX is the greates addition to Holo lore since first memeable Peko clips.
