What a awesome color they make so cool. You have a beautiful mind just watching all the videos you make and how wonderful they are. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art with us.
Thanks so much sweet Jacqueline,, so happy to hear that you like these :) I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season . Sending many Blessings of Peace & Love
These are beautiful. Going try some for myself. I would never thought about the bead hangers. I have a bunch of beads because I used to make jewelry. Thank for this tutorial. You did a great job.
I love these. I used white plastic Easter eggs with my granddaughter the other day and used alcohol inks, they turned out so pretty. Then I found your video. Starting with white eggs cut out one step. I like how you based yours first. I think it makes it go a little faster. My granddaughter took them home and my son hung them in their weeping tree in the front yard. When I saw them hanging there they looked so pretty. Your video is great!
Thanks so much , so happy to hear that you like these :) I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season . Sending many Solstice Blessings of Peace & Love
OMGOSH...So absolutely GORGEOUS! You are so talented Cali. You inspire me and make me smile these days have been so depressing. Going through a divorce. Not what I want. So thank you so very much for your kind generosity of sharing!

OMG, what an awesome store!! I wish I had more money to spend! It was even a great visit for my boyfriend as Patti knew alot of the back in the day memories, so it was a walk down memory lane for him. Patti is a beautiful person! Plus I got a few great items for my niece and Nag Champa incense for me!!
These are stunning! These are FAR better than anything I've seen in the shops (I prefer my Christmas decorations hand made and I use all the beautiful free stuff our little bit of forest in Scotland gives us....only a little-all the berries are for the wildlife! ) These are the kind that you can hand down to your kids and grandkids....My sister and I still have a little robin redbreast that my Aunt Catherine gave to us and my mum cherished it for years and so do we...Cath unfortunately died at the wastefully young age of 26 after a four year battle with cancer. ..terrible in a young person. Anyway I can see these glass balls being like the baubles I remember from childhood and still have a couple (robin was more resilient than the glass balls! Wonder why...3 générations of kids and pets took it's toll! I will be making these but I think it will be next Christmas before they end up on the big tree in my sisters hallway. Thanks Cali...you're keeping me busy!
Thanks so much for being so sweet and supportive and sharing your stories... so happy to hear that you like these :) I hope you have a beautiful holiday season . Sending many Blessings of Peace & Love
Hey Cali they're gorgeous. U can also dot on the alcohol then dob drops on the top near the neck and let then drip down. My sweet witchy friend - these are just so gorgeous! You are always posting things that are so inspiring! LOVE IT! Love these! I'm so excited to try this and the candles - hopefully in the next few days if my hands will cooperate. So glad you had so much fun. Happy Solstice! XOXO
Love you sweet Danielle, thanks as always for your love and support :) I hope you're hands aren't giving you trouble lately... I hope you are having a beautiful holiday season . Sending many Blessings of Peace & Love
Hi Cali, I sooo enjoy your BOHO videos! I am totally going to try this one as I love making ornaments. I had a small suggestion to make life easier. When I paint on ornaments, I typically roll a tube of plain paper and place it in the neck of the ornament. Anastasia Beaverhausen I need to wait for my money to clear too...I've found about six things just on Cali's site that I want to make and send to my sister. I normally go home to Scotland for the holidays but it puts my sister in the position of having to 'Do' Christmas. I mean we all help but this year I didn't want her to feel obliged. I have found so many lovely things from angel tree ornaments (on the Gypsy side of the Gypsy and the Witch) I have most but not all of the ingredients for either the body butter or the body butter bars...and I am dangerously low on PVA (mod podge?) and alcohol inks. Everything except the body butter seems to require these....actually I saw Cali make tissue paper into a much prettier, stronger material and I think that would be great for the lid of the jar for the body butter...Sorry I seem to be using this reply to you to organise my pre Christmas rush! Lol! I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season and health and happiness in 2018 x
Foxiepaws ACAnderson it's okay no worries. I'm wanting to make so much from her videos and send them to my family lol. She's awesome at what she makes. Y'all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. :)

Ahhh! So many beautiful things to make and not enough time to do it! lol I guess there could be worse problems. :-) Your video for boho candle holders came up in the suggested videos and immediately I thought how incredible this technique would be for those. You could still paint the inside but make sure to only use the battery operated tea lights. Look at me, adding even more to my list! lol Hope you're staying warm; it certainly is getting bitter cold here. Loved the bit of sunshine we had this afternoon though. :-)
Great minds think alike Sister lol,, I thought of that too, guess we both have a long to do list lol...Hope you are having a great holiday season, Peace & Love
Hay Cali can't wait this is awesome ur such a awesome Crafter luv it I'm hoping another group I sub can try this the lady is wonderful her name is Melissa at 70Acres Studio and she is such a hoot real down to earth so hopefully we can send some pictures of what we all make I hope mine look half as good as yours!!!!!
That is so cool. I am having fun checking out your site. I know I saw this late, but I just found you and I think those are just beautiful. I will have to see if there are any glass balls still to be found. I can't wait.
Thanks so much for watching and your sweet comments Kathryn , hope you have fun making these :) I hope you are having a beautiful day, sending much Peace & Love
Love your art, your so creative. You can get a dowel and put it inside to hold it easier, then get a piece of Styrofoam to stick the dowel into for drying ✌

Cali, these are so beautiful 💖 Can this same process with shiny effects still have the same effects on plastic balls. I would love to make these with my grandchildren 😃 Thank you sweet crafter
So these are so pretty. And so I went all out got me the whole shabang...even the ornaments ... Hunted high and low for alcohol..91% found... The only thing I have not gotten cuz I figured I could use any cloth for the dabbling paint on... Well you can't. It's removing my top layer. I used everything Sept felt. So my question is... Do you need the felt to dab the paint on or am I just not this clever... Seriously before I ruin all 30 of my baubles I want one like ur pink and blue dot one. And man I am half way there...this is actually a project I told my best friend I will make her 50 baubles for her tree for 2022...and now I must produce....lol. Please help I'm doing every thing you are with no felt and getting no where...
This is beautiful. I realize this video is old but does anyone have a suggestion. I am having a ton of trouble getting the ink to remain on the ornament. I have followed everything step by step but when I do to put the ink on the ball at the very beginning it is not covering the ball... it is just evaporating. I put the white paint inside the ornament. Let it dry and put my ink on the felt. Use the felt to start wiping the base color on and it is evaporating and not laying. I used fushia and after two coats with lots of ink the ornament is very, very light pink. Not at all like the one in the example. I tried wiping it off with alcohol again. adding more ink to the felt to blot it on but it just wipes on then evaporates. any suggestions?
Thanks Deb, yes I sprayed them with a waterbased sealant...I showed it in the video and also put a link to it in the description box under the video :) Peace & Love

@@Woodfinwitch I watched all of her videos and she was definitely a beautiful and talented soul ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Cali they're gorgeous.
U can also dot on the alcohol then dob drops on the top near the neck and let then drip down.
Have u tried lighting them on fire! 😃
Obviously gotta be glass but u can drop the alcohol on to a painted ball and just light it up..it doesn't burn for long but it burns the alcohol and leaves amazing patterns in the glass.

Hi Cali,
I sooo enjoy your BOHO videos! I am totally going to try this one as I love making ornaments.
I had a small suggestion to make life easier. When I paint on ornaments, I typically roll a tube of
plain paper and place it in the neck of the ornament. Now you have a "bauble on a stick" that you
can spin in one hand while painting with the other. While waiting for layers to dry, you can place
the ornament "wand" in the neck of a wine bottle. Hope that helps!
Blessed be!
Love you Sister♥️♥️♥️
Love you MORE, Peace & LOVE XOXO
Omg they are so cool and pretty! I'm so gonna make some next week on pay day. :)
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Anastasia, so happy to hear that you like these :) I hope you have a beautiful holiday season . Sending many Blessings of Peace & Love
Cali Black you're welcome :)
Hope you do as well. Sending you lots of peace and love!
Ahhh! So many beautiful things to make and not enough time to do it! lol I guess there could be worse problems. :-)
Your video for boho candle holders came up in the suggested videos and immediately I thought how incredible this technique would be for those. You could still paint the inside but make sure to only use the battery operated tea lights. Look at me, adding even more to my list! lol
Hope you're staying warm; it certainly is getting bitter cold here.
Love❤️
Thanks so much Shelley ,Sending many Blessings of Peace & Love
Love your art, your so creative. You can get a dowel and put it inside to hold it easier, then get a piece of Styrofoam to stick the dowel into for drying ✌
If you want the acrylic paint in the balls to dry faster, use a hairdryer to heat the balls after you've coated the inside of the ball. The heat sets the paint pretty quickly.
These look like fun!!! How ya doing,Calie? Happy Holidays...to u and yours!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Susan,, so happy to hear that you like these :) Happy Holidays to you as well :) . Sending many Blessings of Peace & Love
As an alternative to acrylic paint, I used gesso to coat the inside of my ornaments. Seemed to have more adherence than the acrylic paint.
You Awesome
You could get a thick block of styrofoam and some dowels stuck in it to hold the ornaments
WOW!!!! Love it… will the plastic balls look as shiny as your glass ones?
I just found glass bulbs at wal mart that we’re white on inside already, for less than $4+ half off so I’m trying this today
Thanks so much for being here Arcia, let me know how they turn out .... Hope you are having a wonderful week, Peace & Love :)
Cali, these are so beautiful 💖
Can this same process with shiny effects still have the same effects on plastic balls. I would love to make these with my grandchildren 😃 Thank you sweet crafter
Cali died more than a year ago.... I missed her....😢
So these are so pretty.

Please help I'm doing every thing you are with no felt and getting no where...
Notice you use a lot of blue in your videos 😎 guess blue is your favorite as well as my favorite color
Where did u find the pretty tops for the glass balls?
Love this idea. Do you seal the ink?
This is beautiful. I realize this video is old but does anyone have a suggestion. I am having a ton of trouble getting the ink to remain on the ornament. I have followed everything step by step but when I do to put the ink on the ball at the very beginning it is not covering the ball... it is just evaporating. I tried wiping it off with alcohol again. adding more ink to the felt to blot it on but it just wipes on then evaporates. any suggestions?
Do you need to seal on the outside to keep from scratching?
These are fabulous Cali I will be trying this for sure. Did you spray them with something when they dried. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Deb, yes I sprayed them with a waterbased sealant...I showed it in the video and also put a link to it in the description box under the video :) Peace & Love
