Hey Westie, are you sure they haven't changed the flea already? I've noticed at large difference in the weapon and I don't recall the 5.2 being out yet. PS You can't just shoot those 3 volleys of rockets at one spot you have to move it ahead to get the maximum hits like you would with the AA. Also, who were you playing with? You should do more videos with him because you guys were quite funny together.

Here's some Fliegerfaust History for all of you in the comments:
-The Fliegerfaust meant "plane fist" in english and was also called the Luftfaust (air fist)
-When fully loaded the Fligerfaust was 14.33 pounds which is nearly 3 pounds heavier than a fully loaded STG 44 and less than 1 pound heavier than a loaded Panzerfaust (not half bad)
-the Fligerfaust was 51 inches long which is 7 inches longer than a Kar98 and 14 inches shorter than a Panzerschreck
-10,000 Fligerfausts and 4 million rockets were ordered by Nazi Germany but only a limited amount were produced before the end of the war

Whats that? Something super satisfying and fun and helpful to use for infantry troops? NERF IT NOW.
I mean, it's great and all, but I don't think it should stay where it is now. It literally has the ability to one shot a plane, and the fact that you get 3 before you need to restock is pretty silly.
@@Edognightcrest and yet...there are no other AA weapons that don't immediately get destroyed that work well....AA tanks? Highly visible and used more for troops support when I'm playing in a game (T__T). Fixed AA? Destroyed at the start of the round. Mobile AA? Somehow lost and never respawned (legit, spent a whole round on Arras looking around to see if there was an mobile towed AA hidden somewhere, but no DICE).
@@arnoldkearimal Then they should make Stationary AA more effective, not give every assault a weapon as effective as the fliegerfaust. Also, stationary AA can be repaired, but no one does it for whatever reason so there's that.

@@trader025 That's why they should make stationaries more effective, or add some more to the maps. You complain about bomber noobs, but you want to keep using a gadget that requires absolutely no skill to use. It should be fair on both sides, hence the term "balance". You just want it to be an enjoyable experience for your playstyle, infantry, while making the aerial playstyle agrivating. I'm not saying overly effective bombing runs aren't an issue, but fighting fire with fire is just creating another problem.
Flieger obviously need the nerf. Planes also need their spotting flares and radar removed from bomber loadout and incendiary bombs and shells nerfed along with the spawnrate increased.

Kuba pilot sweatlords are unbelievably rare on console so it just became an annoyance to pilots on console.

Matt Wordsworth well considering that it can do upmosts of 95 damage from one shot, and every assault player can carry one with 3-4 shots (which can be resupplied) it seems pretty op

@@KlitterKlapper yeah I have. And it is useless. The only useful AA weapon we had was the Fliger but all the pilots using there no skill bombers complained because they couldn't farm infantry. So that to will become worthless. Just like AA guns and AA tanks.

At least we had effective AA for one month out of 13 or so, too bad it will be nerfed into uselessness.
The flieger just makes the experience for pilots terrible
Well the bomber pilots often make the infantry's experience unpleasant

Back in Battlefield 1942 I had a moment where on Midway most of our team was stuck on our carrier. The zeros where strafing us consistently. Everyone was shooting wildly at them, so I called a cease fire and told my team to wait. Just as a zero came in for another strafe, we unloaded our Thomson's, B.A.R.s, M1's and 45's. We took them down one by one. I managed to get one kill with my 45. By doing that we managed to turn the game around and got back on the island. Man I miss those days.
I love the Fliegerfaust but when I see it did 90 damage to a plane I immediately thought this is too much damage, now I hate planes As much as the next person as a infantry and tanker but in my opinion that thing needs a nerf, but it's satisfying just to shoot down the annoying plane harassing your team the whole game :)
They don't need to nerfed it to much though. Planes are still annoying.
It's would be like shooting a tank for 90 damage which would be unfair, so is this
@@benis4958 that's true and if they nerf it to where it would take 4 shots from the FF it will be used less then the planes would become annoying again on the Japanese maps. I never really had a problem with planes on any other map.

Its secret if it got a 1:1000 chance of happening, but happening what feels like every 5th to 10th reload isnt that secret.
Why nerf it
Because it makes the experience for pilots bad and its too op
Shling Shlong not on console though. The same player on console routinely goes 50+ kills and no deaths just by flying around in an airplane and dropping fire bombs all game. Whenever I do get him, it takes at least two direct hits with the fleiger. So I either need someone else with me to land their shot dead on right after me, or somehow land two shots on him before he leaves and heals. Which is pretty rare on console.
try dogfighting with a pilot and getting FF'd because you were led over enemy territory with nothing you could do about it.

Why do console get the same changes as PC players. It's not OP on console.
so once I flew passed a zone that was under enemy artillery attack and got destroyed by sector arty in mid air....
I dont think it'll be a bad nerf...increased range need for a bit more accuracy....sounds like it'll be fine
Are they nerfing the opposition's ability to drop mines on the airfield in the new pacific maps? Or at least make the airfields "in bounds" for the corresponding team so we can clear mines off the runway surface instead of just dying every-time you spawn into an aircraft cause some douche-canoe is dropping aerial mines? It's the most frustrating aspect of the new maps.
I’m surprise the fliegafaust is an affective weapon against plane in battlefield V, but in reality it didn’t really work probably and the fliegafaust has no known take downs of planes in the war. The more you know =)
They should nerf the plains! They will become unbearable on the Pacific maps if they don't....

Not entirely sure why you shoot it at one spot and not where the plane is moving
You'll find that 99.99% of infantry complaining about planes are actually complaining about bombers and it's important to differentiate the two. If you have a decent dogfighting pilot on your team, you won't ever have to worry about bombers, fighters are a bigger threat to bombers than a Flieger can ever hope to be.

A pilot goes 100+kills in a game, and no-one minds. The second a viable counter-weapon is introduced, it's considered OP.
In my opinion, this is a result of BF pilots getting lazy and not being remotely worried about getting shot out of the air. All the flieger does is punish lazy bombing strafes, and even then, 90 damage means that the pilot can still fly off, repair, and carry on. It still often takes a couple of precision bursts to kill a plane, or some actual teamwork, as we saw in the video. Even then, a good pilot is more than capable of racking up kills, even against a team using fliegers.

You guys should have pushed the US ship in between the US carriers on Pacific Storm, so funny when they send everything at you to remove you from the boat because you deleted their airforce before they even got into the air! Sad that’s getting patched it was a lot of fun 😂
Can you believe they are going to give it more range though? That makes no fucking sense to me. AA guns op as hell taking up 3/4 of the map alone, and dealing too much damage, a man portable device like this in game should not ve able to one shot a plane at full armor...

Idk how to say this without sounding coachy, so listen sport only your first missiles are hitting because you stop leading when you fire. Keep leading your target for the whole time the plane fister is firing for more hits.
Idk why nerf it, it kills only one player in one shoot but plane kills 10+ players in same one shoot at point. Planes are cancer on big maps.

No they are just reducing the damage when you hit a plane from the sides. The damage on the front and back of the plane will stay sort of same. Also they are making the rockets fly farther to compensate

That was hilarious, and with two of my favorite weapons. It has been one the most satisfying things to do in BFV. Shooting down planes, each one is a shaken fist at those excellent pilots, that have killed the hell out of me. The M1 Garand is such an awesome weapon!

I thought they already had been. first few days it came live the planes would go down one shot. even playing the other night one hit would never destroy them unless they had been hurt already. where I remember first day or two they came out a full health plane would go down one hit. on PS4.
