Oh Sina! How I wish I were you. I’m almost 78 years old and wanted to play the drums from my early teens. Unfortunately, at that time, men ruled the roost and females marched in line behind them. First it was my father-“It’s not a girl thing!” Then it was my husband, then came the baby. I never got to fulfill my dream. There’s a reason the drummer sits at the middle rear of the band. He/She’s the backbone. Don’t let anyone take your dream from you! You have something special. You ARE special! 🥁🎶❤️
You are so right. Even the late great George Harrison on said to me that the most important member of any band was the drummer. And he did not get on too well with Ringo by all accounts. Keep up the good work Sina, I think you already Surpass Cozy Powell.
*Diane Ashworth* *But despite your age, you can fulfill your dream, if you have the space and the money to buy a drum kit, then start today when you are still physically fit. Let's assume you will be 100 years old then you still have 22 years ahead of you where you can play the drums realistically 12 years. Buy a drum kit, you can get a good used drum kit for 500 euros. Realize your dream, otherwise you will never get the chance again. Even if you don't play professionally, it doesn't matter, I bought a drum kit when I was 21 and put it in my bedroom, I slept next to my drums and cleaned the drums every day. Don't take into account what your family or friends say, it's about that you are happy because I believe that you have made many people happy in your life and now it's your turn .. Remember .. you will never have the chance again dream to live. If one is once death then one is death for eternity and if there should be a second life then we don't know anything more about this life .. so .. seize the chance .. you can't please everyone .. ! many greetings from Germany - Cologne*
It’s never too late to be what you want. I know a lady who is around her late 70’s and she is a champion at skiing, in fact better than the young adult professionals I met.
@@sivispacemparabellum6923 Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Sadly, I have developed osteoarthritis in my hands and find that holding a writing utensil a painful challenge. I have given up my dream but still admire a good drummer. I’m fortunate to live in a community that has a small live theater. Whenever a band is there, I always speak to the drummer after the performance. My drummer hero is a long gone man named Gene Krupa. Stay well in this difficult time. Diane
@@dianeashworth2311 Hi Diane, do you have osteoarthritis in both hands? There is a band called Def Leppard the drummer Rick Allen lost his left arm in a car accident. The accident : On December 31, 1984, Allen was driving his car to a New Years Eve party at his family's home in Sheffield. During an overtaking maneuver, he overlooked a curve and lost control of his car, which broke through a stone wall and crashed into a field. Everyone was thrown out of the vehicle, his left arm was cut off at shoulder level by the improperly worn seat belt. The car stayed on the roof; Allen's friend, Miriam Barendsen, was being held in her seat by her belt and was only slightly injured. She found Allen in the field. Doctors tried to sew the arm back on, but the wound became infected; the arm had to be amputated. Although everyone was sure that they would never be able to play the drums again and therefore have to leave the band, the band members saw it differently. Together with the Simmons company, an electronic drum kit was developed that everyone could play with their remaining arm and especially with their feet. On August 16, 1986, Allen reappeared with Def Leppard for the first time since his accident. The band played at the Monsters of Rock Festival in Donington that day, and just a year later, Hysteria, one of the most successful hard rock albums of all time, sold more than 20 million copies. [1] The album reached number 1 on the album charts in the USA, Great Britain, Norway, Australia and New Zealand. In 2008, Allen was ranked seventh on the list of “Greatest Drummers of All Time” by Gigwise magazine th-cam.com/video/0T1IVyXBGjM/w-d-xo.html
WOW Sina! You will probably not believe this, but WIPEOUT was the song that I had my drum solo on when my cousin and I had our band in the early 70’s!😃 When we began playing it, I added a little extra on the original solo and the band told me to expand the solo and make it my own. The first time we played before a small crowd, when my solo came, I gave it everything I had! The other band members walked off stage for about 5 minutes and gave me the spotlight! That was the first time that I received the loudest applause and yelling for more! What a night for a 14 year old boy to experience! One day Sina, I hope to see you play in person because your smile shows how much you enjoy playing and brings back very good memories of my youth! Don’t ever stop sharing your talent and love for music! 🌹❤️
Since I'm old as dirt, I was a young dude back in the day when this played on AM radio. Great job on a rock classic. Fifteen plus million views on a song released sixty plus years ago. Now that's what I call outstanding, Sina. Sail on!
Sina, i am old. i started playing 60 years ago and am 67 and still play everyday either drums, keys, or guitar. I live in one of the great music cities so there is always something going. Don't let anything take away your passion, not boys, a job, getting po'd at your parents. Don't start getting high. There is no limit to how far you can go. It looks like your dad supports you. That is great. When i started, i couldn't practice in the house. No matter what, keep after it.
Hi, thanks a lot for watching and taking your time to give some advice, very nice indeed! Will do my very best to find the right way but there are no guarantees... Thanks again!
Disabled vet and stuck at home in pain most of the time, found your videos and watch them over and over as they bring a smile to my face. You are a supremely talented young lady and my family and I love watching you and your Dad play. Best wishes for you and your fledgling career, you are awesome and an inspiration for my two daughters who are not much younger than you.
Thanks so much David, such a nice message. This afternoon (Friday morning your time) I'm going to launch Bohemian Rhapsody, I hope you like that one too, thanks again :)
While this was done over 3 years ago, she has only gotten better. While some discuss the music and some discuss her selections....what I see is a world class athlete. The physical effort to do this is tremendous. To do it with a grin on your face is unbelievable.
Over the years I have watched this cover a lot. I especially like how it a Daughter and Father collaboration. How proud could the father be ???? OVER THE TOP I’d say. Well done you two.
I was a professional drummer for 35 years and played this song many times! You blew me away with your feet! Very cool! Thank you for the joy you bring me when I watch your videos. Both of you are incredible! ✌🏼👍🎼🥁

Sina, I can't get over how easy you and your Dad make it look to play this song. And you have really got both your feet hammering on those pedals. Good job guys. 💗💗
I really want to thank Sina's father for a) bringing her into the world and b) exposing her into GOOD music, and c) encouraging her to play and helping her become what she has so far, there is soo much more in store for her if we are all lucky!
I played drums in my youth... Nowhere Close to what you do ! But as a kid growing up if folks knew you played drums, Wipe Out was all everyone wanted to hear ! Great Job !
2023: I remember this song coming out of a tiny speaker on my crummy little transistor radio back in the day. As many times as I heard it then, I really only heard it fully realized for the first time today. Great drumming and guitar work on a great original oldie. I love Dad's finger picking!
thanks for this! i just turned 13 and im trying to learn this song, it helps to see whats actually happening in the drumset to play. appreciate it! goodjob!!
Absolutely wonderful. Truly gifted. And her lovely INNOCENT smile at the end is a bonus ! ! ! (and the guitarist deserves an honourable mention as well).
Wipe Out was introduced in Japan by The Ventures, so ears of Merry were familiar with the sound. However your performance brings new emotion since the tone is clear and harmonized. The breath of the drum and the guitar is marvelously in harmony moreover the performance is excellent.
Excellent Sina, well done. And to Dad, too. Bet your arms ached after that. But you never missed a beat and never dropped your pace. Perfect performance.
This is my favorite one that you do. Your daddy.is great ! He is one of the best that I have heard doing this song (my opinion ) I You two a very good together. Please do some more together ! have watched you since you were 11 and you get better and better.
how can over 2000 people give Sina the thumbs down? She is one of the best drummer in the world ... To those who have given her their thumbs down must be so jealous that they do NOT even have any talent .... Sina shines through and you are so MEGA Cool .... :)
And you support her cuz she's a girl and she's young and she's playing drums amazing she can join the two or three million other young high school and college-age people playing drums there's nothing stand out and there's nothing bad about her plane you consider her doing it right T magnificent you have low standards for a girl playing drums

Again, it sounds better than I remember it. Sina makes it better. Great talent makes the memory lane fun.
Sina, I can't get over how easy you and your Dad make it look to play this song. And you have really got both your feet hammering on those pedals. Good job guys. 💗💗
the best Wipe Out drumming I've ever heard. what a talented girl!
@@chiefgreco5592 bruh shut the fuck up
This is amazing and brilliant performance by both of you ! Is it really from 7 years back?! Sina's constant drumming is astounding!!
No tattoos it's a pure talent.
I really want to thank Sina's father for a) bringing her into the world and b) exposing her into GOOD music, and c) encouraging her to play and helping her become what she has so far, there is soo much more in store for her if we are all lucky!
And using ear protection. Drummers can get problems otherwise.
I thought she was using a click track. Great young drummer.
I played drums in my youth... Nowhere Close to what you do ! But as a kid growing up if folks knew you played drums, Wipe Out was all everyone wanted to hear ! Great Job !
Super dolllllllll!!
It's been incredible watching you grow from an incredibly talented young lady to where you are today! Thank you for sharing the journey.
2023: I remember this song coming out of a tiny speaker on my crummy little transistor radio back in the day. As many times as I heard it then, I really only heard it fully realized for the first time today. Great drumming and guitar work on a great original oldie. I love Dad's finger picking!
One of my FAVORITE songs ever. And you did it so fantastically.
agree
That look on your face. That smile that says, "Yeah, I nailed it!" You earned it, Sina! Bask in it! And keep it up!
I must have watched this video more than 50 times. Never get tired of it.
Makes me happy happy
Right with you Ariel I grew up with this song and Sina tops any drummers I have heard do it yet!
Bruce SZ

Very good job! It´s very good to see your dad playing with you. He did it very well. Congratulations you both!
Love the double bass workout instead of the toms! Whoever gave this a thumbs-down is a moron. Great work on drums and your dad is amazing as well!
Amazing improvisation... incredible use of double bass technique !! keep up the fantastic work...
I can't add anything that has not already been said below. Awesome. Super talented! BRAVO!
thanks for this! i just turned 13 and im trying to learn this song, it helps to see whats actually happening in the drumset to play. appreciate it! goodjob!!
Absolutely wonderful. Truly gifted. And her lovely INNOCENT smile at the end is a bonus ! ! ! (and the guitarist deserves an honourable mention as well).
Bruce Grahame - Yes, that’s Sina’s Dad on guitar!
YOU are ROCKING the house with THIS one
I do not know what you are doing now, but you just made my day very special. I hope you keep playing.
Wipe Out was introduced in Japan by The Ventures, so ears of Merry were familiar with the sound. However your performance brings new emotion since the tone is clear and harmonized. The breath of the drum and the guitar is marvelously in harmony moreover the performance is excellent.
リズム感がとても素晴らしい演奏です。素敵な羨ましいくらいのfamily ですね。💐
Excellent Sina, well done. And to Dad, too. Bet your arms ached after that. But you never missed a beat and never dropped your pace. Perfect performance.
This is my favorite one that you do. Your daddy.is great ! He is one of the best that I have heard doing this song (my opinion ) I You two a very good together. Please do some more together ! have watched you since you were 11 and you get better and better.
Dear Sina, your drumming is simply amazing!!!
Your cover of that song is absolutely fantastic!!!
Your Dad is a star, and you are a supernova, love this cover one of the best.
how can over 2000 people give Sina the thumbs down? She is one of the best drummer in the world ... To those who have given her their thumbs down must be so jealous that they do NOT even have any talent .... Sina shines through and you are so MEGA Cool .... :)
And you support her cuz she's a girl and she's young and she's playing drums amazing she can join the two or three million other young high school and college-age people playing drums there's nothing stand out and there's nothing bad about her plane you consider her doing it right T magnificent you have low standards for a girl playing drums
@@rocknroll7400 And you`re clearly an arrogant ass, who doesn`t know much about drumming.Lol
@@rocknroll7400 I Could say the same word if she were 100 years old. I have seen lots of her videos and she is still cool to me. so dont be rude because I write something good to an talent girl.... ! And I dont care what you mean.... What I can read on your text you already thinking on "sex"... You are so sick.... If you dont have anything good to say then "Get out of my mind"...!!
@@rocknroll7400 yes, you're right. she is definately NOT one of the best drummers in the world. calm down people. she is very good. but thats all.
gert just jensen - way to go! Forget these jealous haters. The only reason they’re saying negative things in a comment section is to try to make themselves feel better. Good luck with that haters.
I'm a drummer this is the best song to play. The pace quickens after a while my arms go numb....its worth it
