UPDATED 2023 Axe Avenge Pro "Flared" -5 | USSSA Exit Velocity Testing

Axe Bat has a late 2023 release: an updated version of the Avenge Pro USSSA composite with the new 'Flared' handle and a lower starting barrel compression (AKA hotter out of the wrapper & less break-in time needed). Also note that this updated version was only released in Drop 5 (not -8 or -10).
Since the original Axe Avenge Pro 2023 didn't get much love in our 2023 USSSA Composite Showdown, we're going to give it another shot here on the ‪@HitTraxOfficial‬ against the Rawlings Icon USSSA -5.

I just spoke with a rep from Easton.. seems like it's not available for another 4 weeks... Curious how it's already being allowed to be used in actual tournaments. Testing is fine, however when it comes to real ranked games, I think that should be illegal and fall under the use of unfair advantage playing field. Correct me if I'm wrong, since these are not paid athletes that will be using these bats, but if it can affect an individuals averages and performances-which can result in whether a child is chosen by a scout or given a better opportunity-then yes... it should most definitely not be allowed until it is readily available to the general public. The same goes for Homologation vehicles when competing in rally racing, etc... Its common sense, no?
